Just ordered the Bruticus and Abominus guns. The Superion set looks great too. Hope we get sets for Defensor and Menasor. I really hated the generic weapons most of those figures came with, but other alternatives had been too pricey before MW's offerings. Plus, I like that they prioritize having the guns combine.

 

I've got the Bruticus gun coming Friday and I'll be ordering this one as soon as it's available. This looks pretty awesome and I've been loving their combiner guns lately. Any word on the Volcanicus gun that's been teased but never released?

I wish someone would make some leg extenders and other parts for Doubldealer - all I've seen so far is a cassete holder and engine block piece.

I think they messed up a bit with their recent axe repaints they are so thick they can't fit in either siege or Earthrise prime's hands - I may have to sand the handles down and respray them to get them to work at all. At first I thought it was that the holes were the wrong size but the whole handles are either to big, or so thickly painted they simply don't fit - the only thing I could even find that was able to hold them was Beast Hunters Wheeljack, So if you want one of the axes - and are not bothered by what colour the original orange one might be a better bet.

Got my Bruticus gun in.

So the bottom little gun doesn't sit flush against the rest of them and the handle that Bruticus is meant to hold is entirely too short but other than that it's pretty good. I'm not sure who will get it once I get my collection set back up but for now, he does.

 

Some guy on Twitter makes them - no idea who - they also make guns for Siege Rumble and Frenzy they have not posted today though so I can't see their ID on my timeline. You are not missing much mind, it was just an additional engine piece and a modern replica of the blue part the G1 toy had that attached to the gun.

No handle extender for the weapon or leg extenders which is what I'd personally have liked to see.

 

Same here. Though Ideally I'd like someone to produce complete replacement legs and arms with shoulders that are ratchetted instead of pinned.
The only company I can see doing such an extensive upgrade kit are Dreamwave though.
In olden days we might get an improved ko that would fix the issues the figure has, but ko companies seem to have lost intrest in doing figures of late G1 companies.
I guess the upscaled WJ Headmasters didn't sell enough. Such a shame.
This is a great figure, but with the issues fixed it would be a stellar figure.
