Is there some Comic or some such he uses such an Axe or is it just something made up ?
the blade on Apeface's axe should be banana yellow....
I'm thinking the red. It plays ball with his shield as "part of his gear".
Matrix Workshop Ironhide Add on Kit
I just got through Siege Springers add-on parts, but I have to say, it looks far better shared with Generations Scoop... and he finally has a weapon befitting a Wrecker.
Wonder if they finally fixed their peg / port issues yet. Anyone have a kit with proper 5mm and not oversized pegs?
My copy of the weapon set for Nightbird was perfectly fine.
Hi dude，I think since M-21 the ratchet set they have found the problem and fix everything for the coming batches.
Got the Smokescreen and Mirage kits in yesterday.
For the most part, everything fits well. Smokescreen's shoulder cannons needed a good amount of force to get fully tabbed in, but they went. I do wish the bottoms were angled so they would sit flush to the figure. Mirage's missile was so loose it would fall out of the launcher, but putting a tiny scrap of paper in the port tightened it up nicely. The whole shoulder missile assembly is kind of ridiculously long - the launcher is shorter than stock but the missile is longer. It's a bit much but still better than stock.
Thanks. I'll try another kit in the future then.
You may want to file down the Smokescreen pegs a teeny little bit then. They're oversized and fortunate that yours didn't break. 3d printed material just breaks and doesn't warp / bend first.
The shoulder cannons from the Prowl kit look great on Bluestreak.
Indeed!! I plan on painting mine with gunmetal gray instead of silver and red instead of black
any chance of the sideswipe, red alert or hound kits getting upscaled to match the aoyi mech knockoffs?
Weapon for Crosshair.
Tailfin for Astrotrain，portable for robot and spaceship mode，still working on the train mode.
Awesome stuff as always!!!
Nice gun for Crosshairs, he's still on my whenever list, but he needed something to respect his master's in targetry.
I'm loving the tail unit for Astrotrain, make-it-a-gun was always the obvious choice for robot mode. At this point, I'd settle for being able to store it in the tender, clenching it for train mode would elevate this to buy before I get toy if necessary.
Yea I'm pretty sure I'm done with Matrix Workshop. This is the 2nd part of theirs that has broken. While the first one was my fault, it still broke entirely too easily. In this case, Prowl took a shelf dive of just a couple feet and landed on carpet. Shoulder cannon still broke.
@tfsafari is there anyway I can contact someone about a replacement piece? I don't want to have to buy a whole new kit AND wait for it to get here just to replace one cannon. If not I'll just throw the rest of the kit away.
That blows, but how do you intend to get the broken plastic peg outa that slot?
I have a similar issue with a broken peg in a hole and have no idea how to get it out.
Try drilling a tiny hole into the peg, screwing a small screw into that hole, then pulling the screw (and peg) out with pliers.
Yep then you can cut the head off the screw and use it as a means to repair the handle.
I had to sand the handles on my set down a fair bit they were to uncomfortably tight - heck they wouldn't go in the hole at all more than like 2mm by default. The second set I bought for Bluestreak was a much better fit though.
