Okay seriously, 3rd party or not this is now more of a mesh between Beast Wars and AOE than a straight up AOE-inspired Dinobot combiner. This combination is really interesting. Almost makes me want to skip the Star Cats combiner.

The dino modes look AOE inspired but the bot modes seem to be original designs. I can't wait to see what color schemes they go with.

 

Looks like 100% Bayverse crap to me. More power to them, I guess.

This thing looks great! But in bot mode, where does it all go? Transformation looks intense.

 

Since its bestial, I'd think it'd be quite easy.

 

Damn, 200 yuan is only like $30. If QC is good and they're easy to find that's a pretty low risk.

 

It is my imagination or is Grimlock's gun the left leg of the combiner?

Also, this seems to be Grimlock, Slug, and maybe at least one-three other figure, any ideas? Looks like Grimlock is the arm, not the torso, which is at least cool. Sludge as the torso? Scorn as the left arm?





Also, if they colored this guy in Beast Wars Megatron colors, it would also need a new head, then MAYBE I could see it. Even then it might have to be done as a "Transmetal" to pass as a Beast Wars homage.

Vehicle mode Beast Wars figures are more fun, because

1. They are generally pre-Beast Wars Cybertronian forms, which most of the characters don't have as toys yet.
2. I already HAVE most of the Beast Wars toys in beast toy form, and they don't need replacing. (with exceptions like Airazor! She could use a good toy!)

 

I want it.

 

Looks cool. I won't be buying it personally but lots of interesting ideas in this project.

1st off... YES PLEASE! OK, now I called it with the 3 bots and so far 2 for 3 on which dino's will unite. Now we know that grim is both arms (split down the middle Fire King style) and Slag is both legs (unique way of doing this, upper body and rear split). Still going with Scorn for the torso as a spinosaurus is larger than a t-rex.   At this point, pretty safe to say Savagery here will definitely be displayed next to Fire King!

 

Look closely at the combined mode torso. It looks like AoE Optimus Prime. This is a weird one.

I assume the price is because it's Chinese retail and not unofficial third party markup.

 

That would make this even better. It perfectly fits into my head canon of movie Optimus Prime being totally insane and rips apart his own comrades to use as armor.

 

Personally, I really like the fact that the two limb robots break up to form their bits. Traditional combination scheme, unconventional way of getting there.

 

I'm REALLY hoping this turns out to be a Chinese retail item, so it's not super expensive. It'll go good with my Chinese movie Optimus and Bee combiner.

 

Always been against Dinobot Combiners (kind of overkill), and this AoE-like design doesn't appeal to me.

 

Not feeling this at all. Hopefully they did some research ahead of time to determine if there really is a market for this.
