Went to Toys'r'Us today and behind the counter they had a big stack of these little red Kre-o boxes. I asked what they were and she hands on to me and says I can have it since it doesn't show up in their systems. Has anyone else seen these?
They gave them away last week at TRU for every Transformers purchase of $10 or more. I got one from TRU when I bought DOTM Sideswipe and Generations Skullgrin. I guess they must have had a bunch of extras left over.
I got one from the Hasbro booth at TFCon. They are also giving them away at HTS for a purchase of $10 or more. It was originally an SDCC exclusive, but I guess they made a bit too many.
It's funny to me that at Botcon you had to enter some prize drawing to get one and they were being douchelords about not giving folks more than one (even if they had 4 kids dangling behind them), yet here they are being given away at every possible opportunity. I have 3 of these things already that I don't need XD
