Update - had quite a few pieces added on for Ratchet:

    + Matrix Medkit
    + Medical Backpack
    + Forearm Filler Plates
    + Arm Communicator

And they can be see all in this photos below:

Thanks all for the kind words, folks!

If you would like to get the first 3 addons, they can be found here - https://www.patreon.com/posts/29129181

The Arm Communicator model is up for free download too over here, printable if you have a 3d printer handy or access to one - Arm Communicator for Transformers Siege Ratchet by FunbieStudios

    ====

Just managed to grab a Siege Ratchet and boy, is it a fun one!

Noticed there's a lot of space in the chest so it was a prime target to do up a "matrix" styled med kit for Ratchet. Took a little inspiration also for when Ratchet was sadly separated from his body in the Lost Light series.

Flips around to show the Red Cross insignia:
    RatchetMedKit04.jpg

Here's how things look with the chest closed up:
    RatchetMedKit05.jpg
    RatchetMedKit06.jpg

And when the med kit is carried briefcase style, when Ratchet needs to rush to the aid of his comrades: RatchetMedKit07.jpg
    RatchetMedKit08.jpg

Kinda fits in the "boot" when Ratchet is in alt mode!

Here's the digital render before the piece was 3d printed - the details are clearer here:

    RatchetMedKit01.JPG

Put a 5mm peg hole on the back so putting a 5mm rod through it will allow this piece to also be attached to the standard 5mm ports on most figures. RatchetMedKit02.JPG

This was quite the blast to do up - gonna have to work on some other accessory ideas for Ratchet soon!

Noticed a very useful peg in the center of Ratchet's back too ... so well, that's a great place to have a backpack! Medics need to carry a lot of gear, yeah?

As a bonus, the medkit (or another one) can hang below too!

Really nice upgrade! Any chance you could make filler panels for Ratchet's and Ironhide's forearms?

Oh yes yes, those were planned in the works too, on top of some other fun ideas for this chap! From the way things look, it's going to be more like a whole upgrade kit of stuff for Ratchet here!

You read my mind - the next idea is to connect some more accessories which Ratchet can hold to the sideways facing 5mm pegs on the backpack. ;)

That's a great idea - just made some quick ones which will also add on more peg holes to the underside of the forearms:

    IMG_20190813_160809.jpg

    Quick video of them -

So this is what the entire set of addons look like so far (with a splash on paint on them):

Also, if anyone's keen on getting these files 3d printed out too, have released them on Patreon over here - https://www.patreon.com/posts/29129181

Will be more soon, so many ideas for this figure :D

    Enjoy~!

Those look great. For what we pay nowadays for our figures, it's too bad you have to utilize your time to finish what Hasbro should have done in the first place. But thanks, and keep up the great work.

That's really cool, reminds me of the Spark Crystals of the old Beast Wars figures! :thumb

Might wanna be careful with the other side though, The Red Cross Foundation is pretty eager to send cease-and-desists over little things, given their history with TFs.

True but I think this is small enough that it won't matter.

Thanks for all the kind words, folks!

Just did up another small addon for this set - a new Arm Communicator for Ratchet so that he can scan for his buddies and perhaps even chat with Prime to see where he should be deployed next:

Have released it for free on Thingiverse if anyone's keen to download it and have a whirl with 3d printing it too - Arm Communicator for Transformers Siege Ratchet by FunbieStudios

Here's Ratchet all loaded up with 3 Medkits, the Backpack and the Communicator (plus the arm fillers):
