at first: i'm not a hater!

    oh nice, another useless 3rd-party-toy....

sorry, but i get really bored about the dayly new 3rd-party manufacturers! i really like and respect what they create, but man, there are to many of them now!

and this is a new version of a existing figure -> legends megatron!

I think, enough is enough, you can't buy everything of them, all wants a piece of the cookie HAS/TAK created.

again: i don't wanna be rude or something, respect for the engeneering and so on, but it's useless in my eyes.

now start to kill my post pls ;)

You probably know: I'm a 3P supporter and I'll be forever.... but in this case I can kinda get your point. This product seems very unusefull at my eyes, especially if I compare it to the TFC Targetroid one... I love also the rts legend Meg you said, but it's another thing, that's not a target master thing and yoiu can't use it as an accessory for many other figures...

Anyway I'm not ever able to understand when someone says that's bored of a 3P product... it's a reality that exists and that doesn't force you to buy something. Indeed, they increase your possible choices and this should be always a good point to start from...

Not every third party item is for everyone, I think we understand that, and so does MasterShooter. Some people will prefer Targetroids, some will find this more up their alley, and that's OK!

More pics will be coming this weekend when I have the chance to see these test shots first-hand and drop them in the lightbox!

To me, in gun mode, that's better than the Targetroid version and more useful than the Legends version. I hope it gets released.

Yes the gun mode is better here indeed... but the targetroid bot mode is far superior imo :)

targetoid steps on this like no one's business. The megatron bot mode looks like heaven and hell in comparsion. Yeah, slightly better gun mode. Wozer.

I like that little megatron, but he's kind of boring. If this is cheap, I may say why not, but the chances of it being so are slim.

Pre-orders have been up since the figure was originally announced, actually, so the price is already set.

Captured Prey - Great Toys, Great Prices, Great Service

Pricing is $18 each, or $35 for both. The production run is limited to 500 pieces each.

$18 seems a bit steep for this. I know the 3rd party companies have higher costs and what not, but (and this is just my personal opinion) I'm not sure what "need" it fills for the collections. It looks like a one-off for the CHUG figures, and the Targetroids can do the same thing.

Maybe more pics will change my mind, but I'm not so sure right now.

the only desirable thing is really the starscream double weapon wing conn. If they sell that seperately, I would buy,.

Keep in mind this guy is a lot shorter than Legends Megatron or the Targetroid. He's the same height as a regular Targetmaster. So of course it can't be as detailed or articulate ( but it is as articulated as Legends Megatron ).
