I got these in the mail today. They look pretty nifty. I'll apologize in advance for the poor photography - this is my first review thread. We've just recently moved and I don't have any bots to pose them with at the moment.

    First, the packaging:

Each pair is in a nice re-sealable blister pack with a card. The back of the cards have the bios for each set of double targetmasters. They're pretty amusing, and I always enjoy a good ill-fated romance

The Deceptive Constructs (DC) themselves are pretty nice. Each two pack comes with two targetmasters, two double-barreled gun attachements, one single-barreled gun attachment, one saw attachment, one crossbow attachment, and two small pegs, all in either purple or black. The DCs are pretty posable, with articulated elbows, shoulders, thighs and knees. The heads can rotate, as well. The only real drawback I'd note is that the single-barreled gun attachment is pretty snug in robot mode going over the c-clip on the back.

I think these are pretty nice. The articulation is great, the add-ons are nice, and I like the different colors and variability. I'll be happier when I have them sitting next to Botcon Spinister and ROTF Blast-Off when I'm unpacked.

So after a slew of dick jokes, they add to this the fact that "Firebox" is a female?

Got mine in the mail last night too.

Comes with adapters, and some accessories (a purple saw, a black crossbow and a black gun)

Here is G1 Spinister with the "Sinister Shooters" in robot mode.

Anyways, these guys are an homage to G1 Hairsplitter and Singe. Here are the original toys:

    And MasteShooter versions:

Here they are with Botcon Spinister in vehicle mode:

I just got the Sinister Shooters myself. They are pretty fun! I'm glad I didn't go all in for these Targetmasters though cause I'm not 100% on them, they are a little bulky compared to Hasbro's Nightstick et al. Still, they really enhance BotCon Spinister in robot mode. In chopper mode they overwhelm him a bit.

Also, you really need those clip-on 5mm pieces in order for Spinister to hold them. That's what you get from a universal design I guess.

Even though you have to set them aside most of the time, giving weapons to the partners is just a great idea.

What are the accessories used for? Can they attach in weapon mode?

They attach to the hands in robot mode, or to the side of the weapon in weapon mode by having the hand hold them.

They can also be interchanged with any of the larger single or double barrel parts that fold up against the robot's back. So you can have a crossbow or a chainsaw Targetmaster.

They fit in my Spinister's hands just fine without that adapter.

I've had multiple sets pass through my hands and had consistent results. Heck, I even stacked them G1 style and he had no trouble holding them up with one hand. The trick is turning them slightly outward so the front edge of the peg goes in the extended part of the palm that partially wraps around stock gun peg. It's literally only like 5°.
