To me if it had been maringally substantially bigger I would have probably bought it. The articulation really really sold it to me, bending knees gave me instant appeal, I do have a trendmasters diecast reissue which is satisfying but truth be told I am an articulation nut. If only it had been less than 150$, heck if it was 40$ itd be a must buy!! Even 60$.

I hear nearly the whole thing is diecast as well. Holy crap. But alas I will still wait.

me i really do not care about articulation, after all i grew up in the era of brick transformers. it does not matter to me, if it can pose a pinkin or not, it just matters whether or not the toy is fun. i mean lego's have little articulation on there men, yet they are still cool little dudes lol

I have painted the missing white tips on his shoulder wings. Excuse the picture quality my wife has my digital camera at the moment.

i would say, yes, very easy since it does not even really transform, if it is anything like the original.

You will be amazed the minute you have him in your hands. As for the critizim on him from others who posted positive remarks on him in CMs thread I dont know what to tell you. But like I and CM have said you need him in your hands to really appreciate him.

George Sohn said he didn't want kids to worry about losing parts when they play with it. But in all seriousness tell me, unless they are rich, just what kid is going to be able to buy this thing>? You'd have to have some really understanding parents and had to have been a darn angel in my eyes to have them buy you that!!!! I only see teens to adults playing with this thing, for most kids this is out of their budget, especially when a PS2 is the same price.

    My only beefs?

It's a beautiful Voltron. Thank you for all the great pictures. While it doesn't look too much like the original, it still brought back fond memories. I used to watch Voltron before the Transformers came along. Thankfully I feel no complusion to buy this Voltron, but I'm not meaning to say that in any bad way. It's just not for me anymore.

Got mine today and all I have to say is wow. He really is a figure you must hold in your hands or see him in person to know how great he is. He does'nt seem as skinny and the wings don't look as puny. I guess in voltrons case instead of adding ten pound the pictures took away.

Crap! This thread has made me so torn on this! I'm afraid to miss it because it does seem to be selling fairly quickly, and I don't see us getting anything better in the near future... but on the other hand I just *don't* like it, and I hate to 'reward' the production of something that could have been SO much better.

I've actually gone to BBTS twice over the last several hours and put it in my cart to purchase, but then I look at the pictures and I just can't press the button to buy! Gah! :banghead:

Go to yesanimation They have the best price that I've seen and its where I got mine. Also don't judge him by the pics along. You appreciate this guy alot more once you get him in your hands.

Awesome to hear man, glad you got him.
He's hard to put back becasue he looks so impressive standing there with anypose you give him.

You would think the price will decrease eventually, but only seen MP prices increase dramatically.

Wish I bought MP Prime & Magnus when they first came out.
