IF your referring to the difference in head connecting post then no. TT never said it was to be interchangeable, folks on this board assumed (as always) it would and now think (as always) TT did us wrong. But that could change I guess.

I'm liking what i'm seeing so far, as long as there's a kind of waist swivel, i'm fine, however i think the intakes are too far from the head, unless there's a joint to move their position.

Love the way the blue shin pieces are handled. They’re flat (as they should be) but have beveled edges for visual interest. Classy.

People will stop worrying about the recessed intakes when they realise how much more expressivity the head has freed up from being hemmed in by the "intakes cage" i.e: cocked, quizzical, Macheivellian, or looking to one side (instead of looking to the side ... at his corresponding intake!)

Trust me, they did that for a reason!

Also, as has been pointed out by others, a lot of his most iconic shots use this look. Look at this one. His head is completely in front of them here, not half and half. It'll be fine!!

"Ohhh, how it pains me to ... listen to my intakes!"

Now let's get a damn good look at that prototype and pray to Primus something can be done about the butt flap! :D :)

I've been waiting for a new reveal, the Earthrise stuff wasn't quite enough for me. SS looks so much better than I expected! Those proportions are so clean, those feet are the prettiest in MP! I think the backpack from the side will look less bad in person. It looks terrible here because the CAD model shows all the detail so there's a bunch of lines which won't be as present in reality.

It still sticks out but not as bad as MP-45 and thank God. IMO this is a knock out of the park for TT! I'm guessing he'll be around the same RRP as MP-36 if not a little more, $200-250. He'll be shorter than Megs but needs more mass for his jet-mode. Depends on how much accessories they're going to pack, if he comes with a stand I'm sure he'll be $250+ before discounts. I hope the prototype isn't far off, I've been needing something to look forward to.

Why is it always Starscream though
Can someone digibash this into Skywarp or Thundercracker?
I wish one of them could come first instead of Screamer all the time

Gonna disagree hard there. This guy looks spot on, right in line with the current Toon accuracy line. And in the same "refined" design exactly as the ones you've mentioned.

He pulls it off perfectly, just like those others, with juts enough extra details. He also looks to be a very realistic F-15 based on what we can see.

Yeah, this is pretty much perfect. Meteor got SO much right, and for me, was the one to beat. TT absolutely looks to have done that.

Badass, and great catch! Now I'm ok with the wings splitting.

Agree to disagree. This is what I hoped for, though, I am aware it was too much of an optimistic hope. It does not feel good to hate this guy. This hobby is meant to bring me and others joy, an escape from the shiny turd that is the world. This figure is probably the first one to make me feel unhappy.

You can definitely see that they share some similar design elements. At a glance, you can see they're using a similar mechanic for the lower leg fins as Newage. Even the crotch skirts looks the same. I have a feeling that the final product is going to be an evolution of all the great Seeker engineering we've seen in both 1st and 3rd party. Hoping for the best!

Should this not be Starscream 3.0?
