Just boring ass turnarounds here, but man whatta figure! Right up there with Inferno, Hound, & 44 Prime as one of the best looking G1 MPs from every angle.

Try McMaster Carr maybe? You will need the self tapping screws for plastic that have the triangular shaped threaded shaft. That’s what I’m planning to buy myself.

If you get yours soon, letus know how it works. Good call on the self-tapping for plastic. For now, I used Starscream’s other screw for itsince everthing is plastic. I think the only thing that blocked a full insert was the rivet itself. 7mm could be too short but 8mm might work better.

I pulled the trigger for the right price and it’s from Amazon.

For 17,000 yen, it's certainly more budget friendly. Hope this copy is a gem.

My Screamer arrived (Thanks ShowZ) Very tiny paint flaws but nothing loose or broken. For anyone wondering what he looks like with Toyhax stickers. Untitledyuy.jpg Love him! Bring on TC and SW!!!

It's holding up well like this. One of the intakes is a little closer to the head. There's not a transforming figure I like the looks of more than this one.

I got mine to stand on the shelf and for now I'm happy. I'm not 100% sure I'm going to do the screw replacement yet. My fear is that I will break something while removing the existing rivets. I hate those things. Good idea trying it out with another screw from the same figure. All the screws on this figure should be self-tapping screws meant for plastic applications. If they aren't, there are bigger issues at the factory! :)

Haven\'t bought bought this, but I did get a chance to hold one at Toy Dojo, so I have had one in hand, and I have to admit... it felt really good in hand. It looked cool, and the issues I was most worried about didn\'t seem problematic on their display copy (loose ankles, loose knees, etc.) He also had a nice weight to him, felt like there was some diecast in the chest area.

That said, I think I have to pass on him still. I just find this asthetic uninteresting. Someone posted a copy with the ToyHax repo labels and it looks so much cooler. I\'ve not been a fan of the recent Takara hyper-toon-accuracy direction. I like the gaudy details. If they release a + version based on the toy, or the G2 version (which had a more interesting deco, I think), and if they have some time to iron out some of the QC issues, and remove some extraneous accessories to get the price closer to $200 like Skywarp is... then it\'ll be a no-brainer. As presented, though, it\'s not for me, though I AM tempted.

Showed a friend this figure this weekend, who is only aware of TFs through me really...and he was astounded by the "right off the TV screen accuracy of it."

Has anyone transformed him a lot back and forth and not experience any problems with the pin that holds each ankle? Like it doesn’t come out?

Yeah, the rivet removal should be a Scorched Earth option when nothing else works. Only one Starscream has a loose ankle so it’s not something I really need to do but just showing methods for others to use. But you’re right, there are enough issues at the factory without wrong screws or rivets factoring into the equation.

both of mine are transformed about every 2 days. No problems whatsoever. It's a really fun transformation.

Uff, the pointy piece of the wing (the rotating one) falls off, so i put a piece ofpaper plastic to keep it tied, there is some product that could keep the piece tied?
    (no screws)
