I mean considering the shape his specific figure was in, a Masterpiece no doubt, I'd be surprised if he wasn't pissed off about it.

At one point I thought that could have been a last minute reveal, a big bonus, but of course without breaking the sculpt. An upper body extension a bit like MP-44

If the ankles work properly you should not have to rest his shins on his feet. People are just doing that because it's the only way he can stand for some of us.

Not to mention he's also aware that his copy was a flop, so safe to say he knew it could have been better. Hell, in his first impressions, he said he was worried that he would have to buy 3 more Seekers cause it looked so good LMAO.

If I may, in the hopes that this kinda helps flesh things out for the rest of you out there, he offers some extra context for his Starscream process in his latest 4 Dummies episode.

The one thing I have to point out though, with all respect, I THINK he had the stand backwards in robot mode.

I don't have my copy in hand yet and I haven't messed with any of the Beast Wars MPs (yet, lemme get back to you all once I finally watch BW) that come with the new stand, but is that the correct stand orientation or not?

Can use the stand that way if you want to, his complaint for the stand in robot mode was valid though, it should of had an extendable part for more height.

That I absolutely agree with. A telescoping feature for that arm certainly would have helped.

And while yes, anyone can use the stand as they wish, I just could have sworn that the arm for the stand when used in a standard as advertised manner was from the back to the front.

    And hey, there it is.

Normally the stand is used that way, but in some promo pics for Starscream, it was the way Bobby had it because the arm is too short the other way around with blast effects plugged in/when in certain poses.

Somehow I never really noticed that, haha. With using the thruster effects now it makes a lot more sense.

Yeah but in that configuration with MP-52 it's only really useful for angled poses as it doesn't really have the height for good standing poses. IMG_20210701_095020.jpg

    Yay, more BSFat talk.

I adore my 52. No need to apply anything yet posed like a champ but sadly ready to be transformed and stored. The house move is happening rather soon and I don't want to deal with transforming everything at once.

Can't wait to open his brothers in the new place man. This year has been awesome and TT doing these amazing figures is just the best cherry on top one can imagine.

Considering all the reports about breaks with Hound I could agree that he is indeed a ticking time bomb, yet mine is still in one piece since the day I bought him wich was shortly after the official release. Was I just lucky?

    Maybe, I don't know...

It's too early to say something like that about the new SS...

I'm not trying to excuse TT by any means, these figures are expensive and they should find a way to prevent stuff like this from happening, but have in mind that people complaint about issues and not about having a good figure, ultimately the number will look way bigger than it actually is.

I just wish there was a way to measure the number of sales VS the number of figures with issues accurately.

Sorry but this does not prove anything...
The only thing we can say it's (almost) widespread is the loose ankles or by cracks on the barrel or just by lazy engineer not including ratchets there, and the wrong hinges on the wings caused by human error during assembly.

This yes, it's pretty common (it shouldn't)

I've been following this thread closely, and unless something escaped me, all the other issues on these photos are residual.
