I haven't tried it myself, but those seem to be plugged on small nubs. To remove them i guess you just have to apply gentle pressure in one of the ends and it will eventually pop out. If you see that they are resisting too much, just stop.

I'm sure that there are more experienced customizers around here, that can help you.

Did mp03 and mp11 also have the different molded tail fins with the thinner antenna?

Don't know about mp03, since they are in storage, but MP11 is symmetrical.

As already mentioned above, they are symmetrical on MP-11. I've never owned MP-03, but judging by photos, they are symmetrical on MP-03 too. MP-52 is the first Boeing licensed F-15 of the three iterations. Either Boeing demanded the RWR antennas to be molded this way, or TT decided to do it more like the real plane themselves. I think it's a neat detail. And it raises a lot of questions from people on here. :D

Come to think of it, I thought MP-52 would be the figure I ended up liking more than MP-36, kind of like how Starscream tried to usurp Megatron in the cartoon. However…ironically and just like the cartoon, MP-36 Megatron still wins in my eyes. Sure it came out 4 years ago but MP-36 has aged well and is tough to beat, even if my MP-52 would’ve had no issues.

That said, Takara has a great design on its hands with MP-52 and more people will be onboard if they can get rid of the issues that were experienced with this 1st run. There’s so much MP-52 did right but it’s potential will probably realized down the line in future runs and uses of the mold.

Out of curiosity, is there any way to tighten the wing root tip? I tried to squeeze the rivet down with a pair of pliers, but it didn't do anything.

It'll be interesting to see the amazon reviews. There havent really been any complaints on twitter besides the ankles shown earlier and he's selling/sold well enough over there, that the auction prices are $200+. When the mp 44 and 47 issues popped up you also saw a ton of opened ones on yahoo at discounted prices. Mp 44 could be got for $180 a week or so after release.

Just take a moment to point out this is the1st G1 Starscream figure to achieve shrinking his jet wings in bot mode.

The wings are amazing. I can’t pick up an old seeker now without noticing the OBVIOUS nonsense. I literally have to hold the torso together when I pick up any MP11 mold. The wings flop down and the entire toy is just horrible. I’ve never been a massive fan of it to begin with but damn do I hate it now. And I have 12x MP11 molds.

I love that he takes up a little less space on the shelf than the last version. Partially because of the smaller wings in bot mode.

I love how there’s not massive tailfins hanging off the legs. It was small but it really dictated how I pose and position the shelf. The smaller wings and body size is also a big plus.

also I find it weird how even though he’s smaller he looks WAY bigger on the shelf. That’s actually really strange. I guess it’s the color and the cohesion of the torso.

Yeah right now I still have MP-11 versions of Thundercracker and Skywarp on my shelves and they look so bad next to the new hotness. It’s unbelievable. And Soundwave is looking really old as well. I’ll be shocked if he’s not coming next year.

I can’t believe they cranked out all 3 main seekers in one year! No sunstorm or acid digicamobullshit storm no ghost nothing! Not that I don’t want those. I definitely want a reason to toss all my 11 molds. But I can’t believe they did the main guys immediately and in quick concession. It makes me think another big G1 Decepticon is coming next year. Maybe Soundwave like you said? Who knows. I’m just excited
