I also have the mixed up hinges for the wings. Is it easy to swap ? Thx
I feel like they're wrong on most copies, no? At least from the pictures I've seen.
The one on the copy I returned was also wrong.
His choice picks? Primal Scream?
I think it's the profile of the fake parts that's the main put off for me, it just sticks out so much and how it's curved it looks bulbous.
Thanks, have to say that does look nice, very slimming.
Anyone happen to try to make a yeti stand adapters for him? It looks like the person who made them shut down
Mp starscream's crack issue has arisen. Like Hound's case, there seems to be a problem with the hinge of the painted part.
Urgh - that's nasty!
Uh-oh, not another Hound-Gate. Should we call this Star-Gate or Scream-Gate?
The point was not that the real cockpit couldn't be manipulated into the proper position for robot mode. The point is that the animation design for the chestpiece is shaped differently from the F-15's actual cockpit.
The "QC" process is not a fine-point inspection test like most people seem to think it is. These aren't cars or heavy machinery, with lives on the line.
Joint tolerances and things like that should theoretically be ironed out in the testing phase. Even with that legwork out of the way, sometimes problems crop up only in the mass manufacturing phase, where the production is more concerned about speed and efficiency than it is about turning out a perfect product. Nobody checks the individual joints and parts of every single figure to make sure nothing is amiss.
So ... I love it
this is the Starscream I've always dreamed of. I'm back to childhood thank you.
I'm happy to report I don't have important issues, the only ones being minor paint imperfection.
Transformation was technical for me but so cleverly thought, and I love that backpack !
On the side note, what am I doing wrong here ?
ps die-cast feet would have been the ice on the cake
The intakes? There's some side to side play in the whole wing assembly. Just stick you finger inside the intake, and push down while making sure to alight the small tab in the back. It can be slightly counter intuitive at first.
I did manage to do it but was afraid I was forcing it. I will actually leave them as it is or stick them forward like in S1. Glad we can do both
Honestly I think he got a really bad copy unfortunately.
Creamgate. I mean, why not? Amazon did.
I’ll wait a few more days and see what Amazon reviews in Japan say. Could turn out to be a better situation, really.
I generally ignore his videos
So cool - Astrotrain and Starscream working together to improve themselves!
I can swap out Screamer's pins with Astrotrain's screws and vice-versa if/when the need arises. For now Screamer's ankles are good and I was never bothered by that screw anyway - didn't really see the issue. Thanks for this!
It's this stuff:
I think people are also starting to use paint reducer to tighten joints with better results compared to future.
