Look here. It's up a few posts. I asked him how he did it.
Masterpiece V2 Starscream Coming!
@AndyPurro i have answered this above in another post.
@gbm yes if the wrong size anything were to be used here it would cause damage. Screw gauges at this size are mostly common. I’m willing to take risks with my figures to improve them. I will be way happier in the long run.
Mind if I check What's causing the issue for the cracked ankles? Or is it just an out of the box issue?
I feel your pain on broken Megatrons. My original G1 80's Megatron was broken in half by my friend while he was transforming it during it's very first transformation. Then his father refused to take me the store or bring it back himself to get a replacement or refund.
I don't care if they have to get a Takara specialist to inspect every one before it gets boxed. Do whatever it takes.
Thanks! Will do.
Damn it , I was so close to abandon MP ship and jump onto Legends side.
Guess its not time yet.
That really sucks. Curious and off topic, but whatever happened to you and your friend? and your G1 Megs?
I want to say that is an epic ruler.
Ugh. Has anyone noticed the vertical stabilizer fin cracks expanding? Agabyss just told me after a week of back and forth that Takara has no parts available. So, it's either full refund or I keep it and take a partial refund, which leaves a sour taste in my mouth since any US retailer that still has stock is at 275 now. I either accept the QC problem with my copy or pay the late tax and roll the dice on getting a better copy. I can't cancel my TC PO but I won't be buying Skywarp new, and my skids PO is officially cancelled.
Where did you order the first copy?
The tailfin cracks on my copy hasn't expanded or gotten worse at all, they're just... there
also yeah minuscule stress marks on the feet and the feet admittedly are slightly loose, but my solution to avoid the stress marks gettin' worse I wouldn't articulate the foot anywhere beyond its range of motion.
But he's still ever so solid apart from that!
*knocks on wood*
Also blown my savings which were meant for MP+ Thundercracker on Gen selects Abominus meaning I might not be able to save up enough by the time September hits but at least I still have Stairwa- I mean Skywarp preordered already ;~;
The spirit of the box art lives.
The thumbs are the only part of this figure's design that...well, sticks out like a sore thumb. I dig the articulation of the fingers, but the thumbs should definitely be like Prime's and Megatron's.
True WTF moment for sure.
If you need any help since I’m in Japan, hit me up
Somehow we remained friends for a few years after that but his parents didn't like me. I guess at the end of our friendship, well, forced end unbeknownst to me for years after, they told my mom I was a "bad influence" and made him stop hanging out with me lol. Oh well, what can you do? I was a damn child and I wasn't a troublemaker so I don't really know what their problem was. I do have a couple ideas why they looked down on me but that's not for here.
As for my Megatron I think I still have parts of it in a box somewhere. We wasted $20 or so because that prick refused to bring me back, but again I was the "bad influence".
just a random appreciation shot. i do wish there was more ankle tilt to support wider stances, and the absence of a waist swivel is a small letdown, but he’s one of the better mps despite flaws some are experiencing. nothing mass produced is ever flawless, especially for something that has so many parts count, but yea it’d be a drag to have to deal with imperfections.
