You gotta really put some ass into it. I tried gentle gradual pressure, and it wasn't until I treated it like a cannon plug with loctite on it that I got any movement. It's absolutely horrifying.

The reason I'm asking is that you seem unhappy with your copy (you have a right to be). Can't you just return it and get your money back? No replacement, just money-back period.

I know I would if I was not happy with it.

Here's my look at the new MP-52 Starscream, with a comparison against the old MP-11 Starscream. Amazing what 10 years in toy engineering can do! Watch out for cracks - luckily mine only has one on the rear stabiliser, so no issues in bot mode. Hope you can check out my thoughts :D

Oh yeah, but I'm also leery of doing that and then rolling the dice with another NA retailer. For the time being, and in my eyes, this is the Star Scream, and I just can't bring myself to look at the other molds whenever I see this guy now. I'm reluctant to get a refund, and then pay BBTS or TFSux more $$ for the same toy. It feels like I could very easily end up in the same situation but with a far less accommodating vendor. I've had hit and miss experiences with the retailers that still have stock, and feel like I'm looking at a real Sophie's Choice here.

I think at this point I give Agabyss time to sort it out with their Vendor, and chalk this one up to a learning experience. Despite owning quite a bit of TT I've never been hit by bad QC before. In hindsight that's because I normally buy my TT stuff used, and steer clear of poorly reviewed toys. MP-52 just clubbed me over the head with nostalgia, and I lost my senses for a minute. Won't let it happen again.

Yeah that does look really terrible and I was wondering why I didn't notice it earlier. I didn't think to look at the prototype pics. If shorter pins is the reason for changing it I'll die inside right along with you!

It's BBTS bro. All of their product arrives via rowboat. Be happy It's arriving before EOY. W/ BBTS you'll always get your order, but you'll be dead last to get it.

If you do get it to move I think it'll only get easier with repeat transformations. I struggled the first time too. Second time was much easier. Same with the left wing tab. Tough the first time. Went right in the second. I definitely scratched a bit of red paint however inside where the arms are housed getting him back into jet mode. Annoying but not visible in either mode so whatever.

So, I don't have any cracks on mine, but I do have two stress marks on the post connected to the left foot. I thought there was just the one, but I went back and checked again and found another. I'm hoping that it was always there and I just missed it the first time checking. Also hoping that they don't lead to cracks or breakages.

So, for mine, I've got stress marks on one foot, missing the normal smiling face, and a few spots of paint chipping. Not great, but I can hopefully fix two of the three issues, assuming I find someone to swap the faces with or if I can eventually buy KO faces like the ones that were available for Megatron.

I saw @Jarrod had a good match for the red (thanks, btw!) - if somebody finds a match for the gray, please let us know!

Additionally, I found just Gray 306 to be a near perfect match on its own, when doing another touch up to a different part.
