Look at Jarrod’s post a few pages back where he shows the inside of the joint. You cannot get a liquid to the surface you need to easily. It’s inside the part that is cracked for some people. The pin hole you’re talking about doesn’t affect the rotation. You can definitely access the joint but getting the liquid inside may be difficult. I’m on my third round with Kiki and I’m putting it on all the places you mentioned just in case it helps. It appears to be working but it may take 4 or 5 coats. Also if the boss is cracked you will need to superglue that first before adding Future or Kiki. I superglued the crack and kept rotating the foot for a few minutes to make sure I didn’t glue the foot in place.

I can’t order from them anyway because of shipping and customs fees to Canada. But I constantly hear about them getting every figure many weeks after release so I don’t understand why anyone is using them anymore.

Im assuming delivery people are worse in the U.S. because I see this a lot on the forums. But in Canada I very rarely get damaged boxes from DHL or anyone else. Even small EBay shops in China. My Starscream from Anime Export arrived through DHL perfectly with no damage to the box at all. And my last figure from ShowZ was wrapped in three layers and was perfect as well.

I applied future to three spots for the ankle joint. It's been two days and it's been holding up quite well but I don't have any cracks on the housing to begin. My 52's ankles were loose out of the box. The areas that help the most are the connection point between the two cylinders inside the legs and the big pinhead outside of the legs. Just placed a drop of future and let the capillary effect take action. Move the joint around for an even coat.

When you see those kinda of shipping box damages, its what they usually call " make it fit" , They put these boxes in a Container (ULD) and this box is on the end but its sticking out just a bit. well...... they will use whatever means needed to make your box fit in there to close the ULD correctly. .

Yeah, so here's where I did it.

Just a qtip dipped in Future (sorry, I'm not familiar with Kiki)
And then depress it lightly to these spots, and just let the liquid nature of the Future seep in. Wipe away excess. I understand the "crack" situation, but outside of that I'm not sure why anyone is having difficulty otherwise. I'd venture to guess it would even tighten up with the crack; you merely want them to stay put better. Its not like he'll be tap dancing. lol

Like I said, it's only been an hour and a half and they are nearly perfect, in terms of needed tightness.

    Yep, perfect explanation.

The problem with me reading this thread is that everybody showing off their figure's imperfections makes me nervous.
Managing expectations about my figure having any flaws takes a part of the fun out.
And I'll only get Skywarp. So many months being scared of getting a lemon!

I can sleep at night, no worries.

The only imperfection here is that I'm not going to be able to put him down. He's freaking awesome. Came two days early too!

Does the megatron gun plug in flush? Because mine won't plug into the hand fully and I don't want to force it. Right now it will sit snug and then pop out when I go to pose him.
    I have it extended correctly.

I also have the same issue with the thick gray wing tabs not fitting fully into its slot. Maybe a light sanding?

I struggled to get it into his left hand so I switched to his right hand and it was a little easier. Still not an easy tab and go though.

I recall someone talking about possible batch numbers to see maybe if there is a bad batch so here is the info I have from my box .
    IMG_1255.jpg

There is a stamp of "D2021" on the box that Stamped pretty deep. (does it mean year 2021? or number 2021?)

This item is from Amazon.jp by Amazon

    Box was in excellent shape
    Did a quick open inspection
Seem to have all the faces.
null ray is the correct left and right
    no crack on canopy
no crack on the right vertical stabilizer turning area
no missing pins from the horizontal stabilizers
    red intake is molded correctly
folding wing joints seems to be the correct left and right ones
no noticeable cracks on the Ankles next to the thrusters

Looks like a perfect copy except for the blue left feet which is kinda loose. (the loose part seems to the the connecting area of blue to gray,, and not the gray to gray where most of the cracks are located)

This looks to be as good as it gets for me. :)

The box was manufactured on April 20, 2021. The letter is the month. A is January, B is February etc.

I’m positive every box made will have that exact same date, but there’s another stamp on your toy. I won’t have mine for a few more hours but find the date on the toy.

this early in the release all bots were made on one day as well. Maybe a few days? But it’s all one batch. In a year or two you’ll see a possible reissue with a noticeable different stamp and a different QC dice roll.

Tangential but I just realized, even the real war(workhorse) that is the F15 Eagle 2/EX etc is still going strong!(Licensed officially by Boeing so eat your heart out Porsche!) Just like the B-52. Those designs really stand the test of time!

Yes that will work but for some it will require more than one coat. But yours has a pretty massive gap between the ankle and the leg cylinder which is most likely helping the future get in there. Mine has no gap at all and is completely flush. So it’s really difficult to get the liquid inside. It just wants to sit on top of the gap.

I’m also starting to wonder if Kiki is actually not quite as good as Future. I used to use Future but then I found out about Kiki which is a product specifically made for tightening action figure joints. Maybe the Kiki is having a harder time getting into the gap.

Anyway that’s good that yours is improved and hopefully others will get the same result eventually!

    Future ALWAYS.

The sheer nature of it being like water will always work when it comes to tiny cracks and crevices. No question.

    Thank you for the pictures.

    Two questions:
    - Did you pull the foot slightly out? I don't have the gap on mine that your first two pictures point to.
    - Would adding Future where shown in the third picture be effective? When I look in there, it's just a hole and the pin only starts about half way in
