I personally don't like the extreme G1 toon MPs, but I know if either Takara or a 3P made a extremely toon accurate Armada or Energon figures, I would eat that stuff up whether I bought it or not.
So I'd say if you don't like how the MPs are now you could either wait till they change, get the old ones or look for 3rd party figures (that's what I'm doing for Ironhide/Ratchet), since there are many people who are just loving this stuff.

That's one of the great things about this hobby, options.

In the UK when you buy most goods a tax is added (VAT - Value Added Tax) so the government get a slice of the pie. When you order from outside the UK you don't need to pay this - the import taxes cover that but only on goods over a certain price.

Basically they try to get you either way.

Some companies (cough AE cough) mark down their goods so that having to pay import taxes becomes a rarity.

Really love the smiling face. I think it's actually better than the one that came with MP-44



Less of an up-turn at the corners, so looks a little less manic maybe.

Fantastic how different it looks from different angles though, much more manic from a low POV:








Also love the way lighting and the shadow from his brow can sometimes make one eye look a little smaller, looks so expressive!




Really love how they've used the famous jettisoning weight face in this shot:





It's just a perfect smarmy arrogant cocky smile!



Paint definitely a little thick on this prototype, but the neutral face still looks hot



And the subtle smile is a really nice inclusion too (three different smiles! That's our Starscream  )

This face is kinda wild but I love it too, obviously it nails that frame from the movie, but it also doubles as a different kind of shouting/surprised




They really upped their game with the facial expressions starting from MP-35, I think. Grapple's smiling face was just spot-on. Megatron's smile remains probably one of the best faces of all time on an action figure. Obviously MP-44's S2/movie head is incredible too. They haven't all been perfect, but it looks like some of Starscream's face will join the hall of fame for sure.

Can't wait to have him in hand. He really risks toppling everyone and becoming the new all-time favourite.


Man, what a time to be a fan! Now we've gone through the reveals of Megatron, Optimus and Starscream, I'm not sure if any future MPs will come close to this level of excitement for me. Probably only Jazz's reveal will put me on the same level again, so I'm gonna enjoy and savour this while it lasts.

I believe @SelectedLime375 already animated that part of the transformation. The halves swivel on top of each other and then fold into the leg. There's a large swivel joint under the rear stabilizers.

Yeah, this MP is going to be posed behind so many bent over things with that face. Reminds me of the pervy Woody figure.

I can't seem to put my finger on it but his proportions seem a little off. His thighs are way too skinny and his crotch is way too big. Looks like he's wearing a big red diaper and I\'m guessing that the rest of the Seekers will look the same as well. Fans Toys or Transform Element deliver us from these expensive and flawed Seekers
