Familiar details here...my dad got me into G1 as a kid too. Being a similar age and low on funds I take advantage of AJ’s non-cancelable preorders and the gift card deposit method to pay them off over time. I got 8000 yen sitting waiting to pay off Arcee this December.

I love the "just getting ready to form" null ray blast effect

 

No movie/Galvatron damaged parts is a let down, but hey-ho. Pretty basic carbot-level accessories.

Albeit saved to some extent by there being five faces. Trust that image to be non-enbiggable so we can't see them, grrrrr.  

What is all that purple stuff for? Flight stand?

Also not quite sure if it's just the hip skirt panel moving up, but it looks like there's a gap at the front and back which makes it look like it might be retracting in like @Dean ML was saying.

Terrific! We get a base, a whole bunch of blast effects and a whopping 5 interchangeable faces.

Not sure about the afterburner effects being pink though. Would've definitely preferred yellow/orange.

Totally ok with no coronation gear.

 

So disgustingly accurate and chock full of articulation. Pathetic how TT makes mp after mp that looks this perfect. I loathe how much this looks like Starscream. The fantastically inaccurate meteor will do so well in a trash bin.

count me in for two and the eventual black/dead version that’ll come with coronation gear. Mark it down. I called it first.

what episode did starscream use a claw? or is it to attach the megatron gun to the jet like mp03/mp11

 

Hip skirt isn’t looking redone in the new kneeling pose. The raised thigh has a gap at the hip skirt

 

Gotta be honest, the 5 Faces of Darknes... er, Starscream gives me renewed hope that TT will finally give both Thundercracker and Skywarp their own differently sculpted faces / expressions once they're eventually revealed.

 

Is it from Cosmic Rust? I saw @Dean ML and @chchchch make references to pliers/claw I think from that episode?

Are those binoculars? I feel like Starscream used binoculars in one episode/

No matter how long spent following this hobby, I'm still trying to understand the universal law that says these kind of images always have to make their online debut being as blurry as your eyesight waking with a hangover after a night on Tequila slammers.
