I think the likelihood is .0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000675 percent. So there is definitely a chance.

I would happily contribute to a kickstarter fund for this!

Have to hurry though, the original voice actors are passing away all too frequently. :(

That's where being a UK comic fan really paid off. Though the movie was canon in the comic too, the story remained in the present day, so no one was rendered obsolete for nearly 20 years.
Many movie and post movie characters were then introduced as their younger 1980's selves, so there was at times no definitive line between pre-movie and post-movie characters.
And of course the time travel stories not only meant you could use Megatron and Galvatron together, it also said the future could be changed, so you could imagine the movie still happening with a fav not dying, or never happening at all.

Why do these KO Primes cost so damn much compared to the cars? I'm not paying $190 for a damn KO.

    ....

    Nvm....

Is that TF-Direct a good site to buy from?

This would be sweet to display with the Carrier from MP-22 in alt mode since the Tractor of MP-22 can come off. This in Bot mode and the trailer in a partial transformation too. Basically I like it because of G1 toy nostalgia. I do prefer MP-22 being a cartoon accurate all in one, but you have to give props to that original toy, I love the Prime mold.

Years and years back one of the fanfiction groups was going in that direction but, like most projects of that nature, it never really got off the ground.

Ya know I need to research that a bit, it was mostly Toei. I know there were alot of veteran Japanese animators working on it. The animation supervisor even goes back to early Toei with Miyazaki!

    Alot of talent.

Heck, even Shoji Kawamori has a design credit on the film.

I'm sure at the very least a customiser will chop up an MP-22 and stick bits of it on a white MP-10.

while I know this is still all for TT's release of Magnus, I'm curious as to whether Hasbro does plan to release him domestically. I don't even have the cash for a TT version right now and if I did I'd rather channel it into Star Saber anyway, but if Hasbro does do a release in a year then it should be fine. So far only Sunstorm's had wonky colors; Magnus will likely not have the stupidly high price of prowl compared to the Takara version and his only downside in a Hasbro release would likely be an info stamp and some minor missing paint apps (using Soundwave as the chief comparison).
Also is the Asia release including anything extra or is it just a coin? (also I forget but are the coins specific to Asia releases?)

Any news of him being on US shelves will at earliest be Toy Fair, if not Botcon/SDCC.

I would think you could still get him around $125 plus shipping, especially with the declining Yen against the USD. I doubt Hasbro's version, if it comes about, will be much cheaper. Shipping could be less, but maybe you save $15.

Shouldn't we be seeing in hand pictures of this guy, his release date is just around the corner? Funnily enough.... I have a sneaky feeling his release date will be pushed further back to end of January like Soundwave's was last year, I hope I'm wrong!

Next January is going to be such an awesome month for me, FT Soar, Magnus and Skwarp, great time to be a G1 fan. I can't wait.

Damn, too bad I didn't preorder Ultra Mags in Yen from Nippon Yasan. Instead I preorder it in USD. USD won't change from when you preordered but if you preordered as Yen then it'll convert when you pay. He's like $20 cheaper now lol.

Couple more weeks you'll start seeing some in hand pictures, Bumblebee is getting released this week so all the focus is there currently.

Interest will move to Magnus in December, remember his release was pushed back a week or so give it a little more time.
