It's the second iteration of Masterpiece Thundercracker. Takara labels things based on if they are new molds, so MP-07 was V1, MP-11T was V1.5 because that mold was a retool of MP-03/07, and now this is V2. Now there's just the question of if he will be MP-52T or a new number all together.

 

This is not the first version of MP Thundercracker.

This. I'm glad that Takara isn't taking so much time to give us the retools, but at the same time not suffering from Seeker fatigue and just putting those out concurrently, that being thanks to stuff like Skids .

MP-11 was a retool of the original MP-03, making that essentially a 1.5. This, being a new mold straight from scratch makes it the next version.

Agreed. Legit I have no nostalgia for many of the toy decoes but either way, the Seekers look so fucking worth it to buy as them.

Cool get all these repaints out of there system early so we can move on. Not that I hate it but I feel like the only \"new\" thing about this is the pale blue. That\'s something new and fresh to me.

 

I hope it's legit. That.may make the MP 11T more affordable!

 

Wish I could do it, but started falling behind on repaints, and then didn't budget for (or at least couldn't pull the trigger on) the new versions of BB and Optimus, so I can't bring myself to venture down the seeker rabbit hole yet again. I do like this version (and the other new versions) though.

 

I can\'t wait to have all 3 of these new Takara seekers, and pose them in running stances mimicking the opening credits of the G1 toon...

 

Passed/passing on these new “toon accurate MPs” (Prime, Bee, ‘Scream v2) but as predicted with this new T-Cracker...

Surprised that people thought Skywarp would come before Thundercracker. Thundercracker usually is produced before Skywarp. It wasn't the case with MP-6 and MP-7, but often is.

MP-11SW and MP-11TC are an odd thing. As Skywarp did come before Thundercracker but only in China. Skywarp was released in Japan after Thundercracker.

Most Hasbro Thundercracker and Skywarp figures have Thundies first.

While Takara continues to fuck over Galvatron and everyone screaming for his long-overdue Masterpiece figure (ME!), how long until MP Skywarp 3.0 is revealed?

 

A lot less on the accessory front. But then might give us a cheaper price whoo!

 

I sold my Maketoys seekers for the 3.0 officials, and the fact I won't have to wait years to have the original trio again makes me thrilled

 

It could be back-to-back reveals. They can literally keep production running. All that’s needed is black and purple paint and plastic resources.
