Having GS charge your CC or PP recently is a great sign. Mine was charged a week before my order status changed to “preparing for shipment”. I would either start another chat or call them directly (800-883-8895). When I called last week, they told me my order looked good and it’s just a waiting game.

 

Got my Thundercracker this week, and am absolutely in love with it. I did have some paint blemishes on my figure, but it pops so well on the shelf and feels solidly built. Really enjoying seeing these toon-style releases increase in number… Hasui’s engineering is still more fun to fiddle with, but these pop on the shelf in a different way that really catches my attention more… even if it may just be because I’ve had some of the Hasui style figures for almost ten years (holy cow I still remember posting on here when I got my original TRU MP10).

 

Mine just arrived today by surprise! Glad to get in on that deal...if $200 for these is actually a deal haha.

 

It is. For MP-52 Starscream outside of Amazon the cheapest price I found was $193+(With preorder discount) before shipping from Japan.

MP-52+ meanwhile is a TakaraTomy mall exclusive in Japan so if you ordered from a proxy store you’d be paying a markup before shipping, definitely over $193. If you got it before the sale at GameStop you’d be paying $240+ at GameStop and any of retailer that carried it stateside.

So getting MP-52+ for $193+ is like paying for MP-52 with preorder discount sans shipping. In my eyes, it’s a good deal. YMMV whether you think the price is justified. However I’m going by what price is being charged by the retailers and for that, I think it’s a deal for $193+.

Especially these days where you can’t really count on saving $50+ on a brand new MP even if it wasn’t limited to TakaraTomy Mall and if you had a preorder discount applied.

 

Thanks for the number. I tried calling, told them someone via chat had already said “they’re looking into it.” Person on the phone said they would also look into it, and that it’s strange how he could see that my card has been charged 5 times and still no shipment. He also said it’s troubling, because now the figure is sold out. I told him that there were people who ordered as recently as last week who already received theirs, whereas I ordered almost a year ago, and he said he’d send another form to their “team of specialists” and hopefully get it shipped “in the next 3 days.” He also said if that doesn’t happen, to call back.

Ugh.

 

Sorry Ben, that doesn’t sound very reassuring. I would call again tomorrow and bug them until somebody actually DOES something helpful. The hope is that computer knows how many units of TC it has on order and has already set aside one for you and it’s just a matter of time until it makes it’s way out. Last week, my order of Artfire from GS never changed from “processing ”, it just showed up at my door step one day. The email notification was sent out a week AFTER I got it. Maybe it’s the same with your TC. Hopefully.

 

I’m in the same boat. Few different emails stating it’s getting ready to ship. Numerous pre-charges on my cc. I emailed them saying the same- people have ordered it recently and received it while mine was preordered back in January… I just received a canned reply that didn’t even answer the question I asked. I called the other day and the guy said they have some in the warehouse even tho the site said they’re out. He said he’ll put in a request to expedite my shipping. Who knows at this point. I normally don’t care if it takes a while but prioritizing new orders over preorders (esp months after something is released) is bad business.

 

Nice that GameStop came through. Thanks for the extra pair of blast effects and thrusters. For those that are still having issues trying to get TC delivered, I hope things straighten out for you guys.

I know what it’s like. My TC was scheduled for yesterday but delayed until today…except it’s not here , so hopefully tomorrow. (Slow breathing)

I just got mine! he is fine other than the clip that holds the 2 halfs of the wings together was backwards all is very well with him!
