    Does anyone know the size of the Masterpiece tapes compared to the original G1 size?
    ie. would they fit in a G1 Soundwave?

    The new MP tapes and the G1 tapes are exactly the same size in tape mode, which is also the exact same size as the actual mini-cassettes that exist in real life.

    So now he's released, has anyone tried fitting MP Laserbeak into G1 Soundwave, and does he fit?

    Considering the fact that I'm easily able to fit G1 Ravage and G1 Frenzy in my Masterpiece Soundwave along with Masterpiece Laserbeak, I'd say he should fit.

    Then again, It seems you still don't quite understand the fact that masterpiece Laserbeak in Cassette mode is the exact same size as G1 Laserbeak in Cassette mode.

    What about the picture in the mp13 thread that shows mp tape is a bit wider??

    No wider as in, it's width is greater. Or, to put it another way, the longest bit is a bit longer. Got it?
