Hey guys, quick question is masterpiece Skywarp still at retailers. Is he at walmart, because i've even seen some rotf figures there. Anyone who knows please help.
Pretty sure he's long gone as he retailed in, what was it, 2008/9 or something w/ the 25th commemorative series? Anyhow, earlier this year...much earlier that is...I happened upon him at TJ Maxx, but he vanished in a flash. I think your only hope now is to buy one off the 'bay or broker a deal here.
As far as mass retail? No, Skywarp was clearanced out a LONG time ago. As posted, some TJ Maxx stores got some overstock, but at this stage, those have mostly sold through as well. There MIGHT be a few scattered at various Walmarts who don't clearance items properly, but that is a BIG "your mileage WILL vary"
If you can't find him at T.J. Maxx then your not going to find one at retail. While some Wal-Mart stores may have some ROTF it is unlikely any have it since Skywarp was released in 2009. They don't want to have a high price point toy like that on shelves longer than they have to. What they had left after the $30 clearance were probably either shipped back to Hasbro for credit or Wal-Mart sold it to T.J. Maxx. Either way most probably ended up at T.J. Maxx.

He found some answers here in this thread, now if he posts 3 more threads this week on the same subject THEN I can understand the frustration. Like Magnus12 just said, its about the Transformers, we are all here for the same hobby, everyone just chillax.
n/p. try the junkion exchange, its your best bet to find one at a good price. if not, there's always ebay. good luck!
He's been gone for a while now, but he actually shouldn't be too hard to find for a decent price, considering there were so many of him that Walmart.eventually had to clearance him out at a fraction of a cost of his original MSRP (which at $60, was MUUUUCH better than the Takara import, the only difference being what alt. face he had and the slight color scheme differences). As such, he should still be bountiful for a a good price if you look hard enough. I'd highly recommend the figure if you can afford him, he is by no means a normal TF toy but the superior design that went into the Seeker MP figure and the fact he's one of the few modern TF's that have die-cast metal still in them, he's worth a look. He also turns into a huge-ass black F-15 jet with amazingly LESS fuss than ROTF Leader Jetfire.

Don't worry about it too much. It happens. Sure it can get rough here at times with things like this but you will learn things soon enough. It isn't like this is the first time something like this has happened. It isn't like we haven't seen the same damn question asked more than once on the first page of any given forum section (I want Mirage/Dino threads).
