I noticed that too, imo he looks more like my QW in color than be did before, which is interesting. I wasn't on board with the color they originally had and this looks about the same as my QW at least in that pic.

 

Thanks for all your scans in this thread and some others. I'm really glad the color on TT SW looks deeper here. It was my only gripe about this figure and now I really don't have any.

 

Yup. Pretty much perfect with that color change.

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, but isn't it possible that the pictures just look darker in the book for some reason? Until someone gets a production copy in hand we won't really know the color, will we?

 

That side by side gun mode with the original gun was the coolest.

 

Now that is an inexpressibly beautiful shade of purple.   (Still not convinced the other images weren't just differently lit or washed out, though.)

I have to agree. This is the exact same prototype we've seen since he was first shown with colors; look at the marks on the hose. Either they altered the color through Photoshop to better represent what the final color will be (meaning they have changed the color and instead of making another prototype they just alter this one digitally) or the color just looks different printed in the book.

The yellow eye also has a greenish tint here.

So until someone gets this in hand no one knows what shade of purple color he'll be.

Quakewave looks like something from the Universe line in comparison.

 

I'll say this - the photos show up on my monitor as the exact color in the book itself.

Either way, it looks like it's not set in stone. The salute photo is slightly different to before so who knows. Both look fine to me
