No words for these unexpected news...!Then, I'm ready to buy my first masterpiece of favorite Decepticon leader :D !

Sorry for questions but in this period I have little time to enter to the boards.

1)From early news, this Shockwave could have a transformation that is difficult and so create problems or damages as old Megatron MP version? If the transformation is easy or reminds 80's Shockwave I'd be glad!

2)I've read that Takara announced him:are there hopes for an Hasbro release, perhaps about summer? For prices I'd prefer Hasbro.

Thanks as usual for your kind help and opinions

The transformation of the upper torso is completely figured out at this point even, it looks pretty basic. How the legs form is not really known at this point, but I heavily doubt that Shockwave will be anywhere near MP-05 in terms of transformation difficulty.

We don't know at this point. But I don’t think he'll come out in Summer, Takara will release him in March so I don’t think Hasbro will have him in stores only a few months after.

Maybe next year’s conventions will give you an answer, there will be people there who will ask Hasbro about this and hopefully get an answer.

On a side note, you may want to consider purchasing one from any of the Japanese e-tailers that still have him for preorder (HLJ, Amiami, N-Y) for approx $100 USD.
The likelyhood of Hasbro releasing this figure soon (June 2016) is not good. They have yet to release the Sideswipe mould, Wheeljack, Bumblebee, and Ultra Magnus.
    Hope that helps!

    :lol  No.

Hasbro MP's are far behind Takara, Bluestreak is the current MP release in stores in the US and he came out in Japan in 2013. Nor is it likely Hasbro will skip MP-19 through MP-28 just to get Shockwave out early. Realistically you're looking at almost a two year wait. Hasbro may skip a few of the more obscure characters, but they're not going to skip the other Fairlady Z's, Sideswipe, Wheeljack, Bumblebee, Ultra Magnus, Tracks, and Ironhide just to get Shockwave out for some reason on the tail of the Japanese release.

As to your other question, it's pretty clear that Shockwave will have a pretty faithful transformation to the original with some added bits to accommodate the new/changed features.

Seeing him side by side with G1 Shockwave shows you pretty much what his scale will be. Looking nice!

Now that is a good looking purple on Shockwave. No more lavender.

Kinda wish the opaque hands were a little more pink like in the cartoon

Otherwise excited for this, even though I probably can't afford to buy him/don't have enough space.

Shockwave is looking better all the time. The recent pics of Quakeblast have kind of disappointed me and reaffirmed my decision to have TT SW as my primary Shockwave.

I like that his gun mode somehow looks better than the gun modes on his 3P counterparts, even though they all transform about the same.

Leaving aside the deliberate decision to use light-piping, the only thing that seems to me like they could have worked on a bit more, is that ugly gap at the butt of the butt in gun mode. Really kills the illusion of the space pistol when viewed from the rear.
