UPDATE! DECEMBER 3RD:

alright, since I didn't want to double post, here are some newer updates;

- started work on the right leg
- adjusted inner leg to allow for a wider stance
- added crotch detail (yeah, I said it   )

hey thanks man   Lol though, the upper body will be fin to work with...somehow gluing the waist on so it has waist articulation...and still lets the backpack fold up. xD the fun never stops!

But if you can find me a junker MP Skywarp, KO G1 Shockwave and an Energon Six Shot...

Looks really good, I just realized though that you should of shaved the sides of skywarps legs off so shockwaves legs are slimmer. I think they are going to be to wide as they are...

 

well...I'm trying to make it so Shockwave has a lot more foot articulation than his G1 toy. This gives maximum range IMO. (first scratch-builds are always a learning experience lol)

still, the customer told me they liked the legs as I made them, so who am I to argue against that? xD But I do appreciate the comment; I'll pass it by them and see what they think ^^

UPDATE! DECEMBER 7TH:

So, I couldn't wait on my KO Shockwave that's coming in the mail, so, I'm started on the upper body of MP Shockwave. Sadly, he's turning out a tad shorter than what I would have expected.

So here's what's been done;
- attached the waist to the chest section
- Modified thighs to allow for better articulation
- designed how head will attach (lol well, that's sorta a landmark I suppose)
- prepped for electronic portions

 

ShortWave??? or ChibiWave???  

 

lol exactly.   I guess he's slowly turning into an articulate G1 versus MP.

...that's not entirely a good thing, is it? O_O

SLIGHT UPDATE:

Turns out he's just as big as MP Grimlock, if only a tiny bit shorter. That makes me feel a little better lol

Make his ears longer, that way it'll look taller.  

 

been following this, great mods. I think if you made his lower legs half the width, the proportions would work really well, not sure if you're still planning for him to transform or not.

with the width the lower legs are right now, building knee up with MP prime legs/thighs would be epic.

I do see what you mean about the legs, and that was the plan originally...but a junker Prime's so damn hard to find nowadays...I was searching for months before getting this commission for another project. -_-;; I was forced to kinda use what I had on hand lol

 

UPDATE! DECEMBER 9TH:

Okay, with thanks from heirofthedog on Sector70, I have been able to continue work on MP Shockwave. As of today, I have;

- Given Shockwave a fully-articulate shoulder (credit goes to heirofthedog for the idea; TFTM Leader prime's shoulders)
- Finished up the work on Shockwave's cannon arm
- started on the head


OMG THIS IS A GUN, IT NEEDS AN ORANGE CAP! :O
