You gotta be freakin' kidding me..
I've mentioned it to one of the TFCon people and said that that video that they shared are parts and pieces from @OptimusTimelord's and @LazyEyebrow's... The video didn't even referenced them as the source.
Classic. -_- Anything else going wrong? Sorry,I'm just having a bad night tonight.
Yeah, I mean, I don't mind people sharing my videos without citation, since I don't get any money either way, and at least it's exposure for the channel. But editing out my opening credits? What's the actual point?
Thanks for that, we'll see if anything gets done...
Well, that KO video is doing the rounds again on FB.
I posted a comment on it last time to clarify that it was my work, but there's not much more I can do and I really can't be bothered to chase it around every time it crops up. Hopefully the bigger my channel gets and the more fans know about it, the less effective copied posts like that will be.
This does give me food for thought about the future though, about getting the most out of my work. To find a way of getting to viewers directly. Hmm.
Yeah, I've been trying to get those that I've seen to credit you for it.
Dang it. >_< I've seen the video.

That one's been updated:
"The nostalgia is real. Now Transform and Roll Out! (original video on YouTube: Masterpiece ReAnimated)"
Ok..that's a relief. ^_^'
Yeah that's the one me and Lazy Eyebrow commented on
Unfortunately, there are still a lot out there, that are not updating their post. Likely due to the language barrier. I'm sad that they don't even try to make any updates and credit @OptimusTimelord and/or LazyEyebrow.
And the reasons for these things? This I gotta frekkin' hear.
Not sure what you're trying to get to... Maybe you should ask those who've been proliferating the works of OTL and LEB, and why they're not crediting them.
That's it. You hit the nail on the head there..or should I say coffin since...these guys are so dead. -_-
I think, like me, Iczer is wondering why these folks feel the need to do this in the first place. What's the reason? Wish we could ask 'em. As far as I know FB vids don't earn money, and they must realise that some viewers will know the material isn't original, and comment to that effect, so why do it?
I noted on twitter that this particular video has recently become my first to pass 200K views, and wondered if that made it more of a target?
Much of my pleas out there, have fallen on deaf ears.
Well YouTube are messing with things again, this time it's flagging videos they deem to be aimed at kids (i.e. with tags like 'Optimus Prime' etc) and disabling comments/notifications on them. @LazyEyebrow brought this to my attention, though it probably affects others more than me. I've explained before that Hasbro claim copyright on my ReAnimated vids (fair enough, since the whole IP belongs to them!) so I don't have any revenue to lose. But this, and other pesky stuff like people reposting my vids minus my credits, has made the future a little uncertain.
Anyway, even before these new rules came up, I'd decided my next video would be a Patreon exclusive (sooner or later I'm going to have to decide whether it's worth carrying on or not, and this is the best way to gauge it). So tomorrow the new video will go up, and I've added a £1 tier to hopefully make it cheap and easy for folks to support the channel. Thanks for reading guys, and please consider supporting! Got a preview of sorts? That would at least tease the audience.
