    took it apart and soaked the gold parts in purple power for 3 days... and it took more of the gold off... minor paint but it looks so much better.

    Off to ebay it goes though...

    Yes, a solid 3 days with checking the progress each day (taking them out of the solution and seeing if the gold would rub off).

    Surprising, the plastic didn't have any degradation.

    Pics of what? The paint removed? If so, don't have any.

    I love that you left the forearm markings red instead of painting them yellow. I painted mine red and they're much more cartoon accurate. Nice work!!
