Current US Masterpieces are being gummed up by copyright stuff, so this stands an honest chance. I think Magnus would be due out sooner though, in terms of recent MPs that don't have liscensed altmodes or are guns. Also the movie anniversary.

Why would it? None of the figures in the Beast Wars line had it. It's not like the desire with some G1 fans about wanting that extra childhood nostalgia with that and rubber tires.

    Nah, it's a lost art.

No die cast parts have been mentioned and I doubt it will but we'll know for certainsoon.

I hope not. Nothing short of chrome drags a figure down faster than unnecessary diecast.

G1 collectors like die cast for nostalgia reasons... Their toys growing up. Beast Wars toys never had any die cast and hence this won't either.

Yeah, I'd prefer Primal to much taller. Not quite as tall as MP-10. But just a hair shorter. Guess I'll be keeping an eye out for MPP-32.

You guys do realize that Primal, unlike Prime, is not among the biggest regular bots in the show? Because city bots, combiners etc. aside, there are not that many bots who are taller than Prime.

With Primal however, there's like 3 popular characters among the starting cast who are much bigger than him. So if they make Primal MP-10 size, what are they supposed to do with Dinobot or Megatron? They would need to be MP-22/24 size which would be ridiculous.

By making Primal a bit smaller they have enough room to make the bigger characters scale accordingly without blowing the budget or creating overly huge toys which fit in very few collections. Another plus point is that the BW MP’s kinda work with the existing BW toys. It’s not a perfect fit but not terrible either.

Yeah, this size is ALMOST ideal for the Generations figures released. Not perfect (Rhinox is too small in comparison,) but close enough to be reasonable, while still getting a decent sized Masterpiece, and as stated, without the larger MPs like Megatron - should they make one - being gigantic.

Well said. The possibility that a Megatron or Dinobot could be made around MP10s height (9 1/2 inches or 240mm) has me really hoping we see it happen.
