No way, the Wei Jiang Primal is compared to their MPP10 in the picture. Making their Primal the SAME size as the MP10. Hopefully some improvements too including red paint on his forearm guns to be show accurate.

So excited for this, just bought two of the MP 32 Primals (one was birthday gift from my sister), will probably end up buying two of the oversized ones, then the recolors:
-Ultra Primal (White Ultra Magnus version)
-Nemesis Primal (All black/teal/no fur)
-Burning Convoy (Red and Gold Version)
-Primal Prime (Red and Blue Version)
-Universe Version (probably not going to happen)
-B'Boom/Apache Colors (really liked his Metallic blue/silver/bronze accent combo - hopefully make it)
-Jungle Version (brown ape!)

Then, KBB will come out with tiny versions (small voyager/big deluxe) of most of the above...
That's going to be a lot of apes in the house, all over again just like the 90's

Finally got mine in hand from AE (had to wait for Inferno). I didn't watch any reviews so as not to spoil anything for me.

First off, he was slightly smaller than I expected, but still a fair size. Rattrap could be mighty tiny, but all in all I think a good scale for MP BW. The concept of the transformation is excellent, but it sure has tight tolerances. I guess that has to do with how little they really have to work with in order to make it happen. The paint looks excellent, but will definitely take caution to protect. I'm probably going to be hesitant to transform him much. Haven't put batteries in, but I like the head enough as is. Inferno win on smoothness of design, but this guy is bang on model and a wonderful start to BW MP. Plenty satisfied.

 

Finally got some small screwdrivers for removing stripped screws... and though I've got it spinning now, doesn't feel like it's budging. Probably stripped on the threading too. >_<

Just destined never to get the lights on on mine.

 

To be honest I could do without the light feature now that I've had my time with it. There's something about it that looks too intense for Primal, however after ten seconds when they dim down before going off I think that looks good because it captures the light in the middle like a pupil.

 

Well, looks like no david Kaye in my foreseeable future, so no rush on Megatron...however, I MAY have the opportunity to own a VERY special MP Optimus primal!!!

Ha, even if that is the case, there's no way I'm leaving those two unsupported in that position! I anticipate Megs will easily cost around £100 so that'd be a pretty costly tumble if he takes a nosedive off the shelf to the cold, hard wooden floor beneath.

Bought Primal the other day, just got a notification of shipping! Can't wait to get him in hand and regress back to my younger years. TT you spoil me.

 

With the right balance maybe none. I would love to recreate this moment with an actual MP BW Megatron though.

 

If Megs was facing down that move is called a Gorilla Press Slam funnily enough.

 

If TT wanted to do a teaser silhouette, that'd be the shot to do it with.
