I can't decide from the pics if this car has no backseat, no trunk, or neither, or both at the same time.

Given the history of the character/piloted mech in fiction, the current Legacy figure and the female holographic driver included here, if I gave a fuck I'd state the obvious.

This is a stunning toy. Might be interested as a one-off if I get all the toys I have in mind. How tall's the Carly minifigure?

Four seats and a trunk big enough for the scooter, if you'd believe it!

I don't usually pre-order MP's these days but I'm really tempted to do so with this one, he just looks so good. I'm curious if his personality will be similar to TT's take on Spin-Out.

The real thing we need to worry about is how awful it will look when MP red Hoist has "ClineLift-Ticket" written on the box.

S ap I didn't realize the real car came with a scooter option. That scooter looks really heavy!

I, too, dig the yellow stripe on the original car better. I’ve toyed around with getting one of these retro stripes on my modern car, but I’m afraid it will look dumb.

Anywho, this guy/gal will look great next to G2 Sideswipe.

I believe the intent was for one to drive the car to parking lot or garage and then utilize the scooter to navigate the city.

I regret getting Reboost. Should have gotten this instead. Oh well water under the bridge.

Just shows how everyone has different tastes. I think it’s fantastic. It’s not overly complex and it harkens back to the earlier MP releases where they were a mix of toy and toon based. I have Reboost and Crosscut and will also have Burnout on my Diaclone display.

I just don't like the way the arms store into the body, always hated that part of the transformation.

I disagree. Male characters should not be turned female on a whim. You said “character” indicating the toy already has an established identity.

Toys who have not yet been given any characterisation are free to be interpreted by the first writer who wants to assign a personality to them. The black Skids repaint was without a personality for years until someone decided to assign a identity to the toy. That’s fine. There are no shortage of toys without an attached bio or comic appearances that writers can assign a female character to if they choose to.

I have the other three (and I only intended to get Crosscut originally.) so I'll likely pass on this.

Looks nice though. Lovely colour scheme with the black and yellow lines. Works so well together. And this version appears to have all the accessories of the others.

    I shall resist.

    Gnnnn!
