We all expected this, just not so soon. So many more characters need MP's, and we don't even know what the next Beast Wars MP is either.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Optimus fan, and if the price is right I'll get this, but even I feel it's been too much of Optimus lately for all lines.

There’s no way the Starscream head makes sense unless we’re now going to get a tease of a heroic Starscream or Starscream just likes to cosplay as Nemesis Prime.

Seriously, I’d be interested in an Evangelion repaint. That deco looked damn good on MP-10.

Oh dude a $100 is a fucking steal. People are buying Blackarachnia for that money. But I don’t think he’ll get that low. I think this is more likely to be a $200-$300 figure. At least that’s what I’m hoping, but I also expect that he’ll be cheaper if he does have less accessories.

That being said I might be entirely wrong and it’s the whole figure again and costs more. Which is equally possible. But I’ve got a feeling it won’t be that.

Well do we know when it’s coming out? Cause it’s MP-49 and Lio Convoy is only gonna be our till next year. And a lot of MP redecos have had a year gap between them, sometimes less. So to me I don’t see it too weird. I’m sure you might see it as soon though.

But I do agree that he doesn’t quite need a new designation. However that very fact may be good. Assuming he would have less accessories. That would work has giving him a new designation of which all the new prime redecos would come from. Instead of MP-44 being the base, this would be.

I’d buy the whole damn Eva series from him.

 

Well, if it's a black MP-44 I will pass as I have on the others (even thought I though MP-10B in particular looked really, really nice). If it's "Scourge" though, I'm in like Flint.

 

Is there any actual suggestion or semi-plausible theory that the actual Black ‘Scourge’ Convoy would come from this?

Because they'd rather have more obscure shite like Shattered Glass. Funny thing is if ppl are balking at a black repaint who in their right mind is gonna pay mp44 money for that niche repaint?

I would be HYPE for a Car Robots Black Convoy. I have FansHobbies Gunfighter 2/Trailer B set, (G2 Laser Prime at Masterpiece scale,) and would love to see an official attempt at that mold. Also had the original RID Scourge. What a wonderful toy. And if this is indeed what they are doing, Takara parlay the efforts into their own MP G2 prime later.

But it\'s most likely a black repaint of MP 44, the most boring of all possibilities.

Yeah I know who Black Convoy is. I’m just theorising if there’s any possible reason why such a figure could even come.
