    Not super thrilled about the MP-49, what's the point of a cartoon accurate figure that was never in the cartoon? For my money, I like MP-10B more. If anyone wants to unload a gently used MP-10B to place their preorder on MP-49, DM me :)

    MP-10 is a stylized version of G1 Optimus Prime. It has a broad chest and sharp details, and a fairly easy but still satisfying transformation. MP-44 (and by extension MP-49) is slavishly screen accurate, and needs a crazy complicated transformation to produce that result, and costs $400 haha

    Well this doesn’t cost $400, if that means anything to you. I kinda forgot they were different figures. Like obviously not interchangeable but in terms of a black Optimus I just didn’t think of much of a difference. Poorly thought statement on my part.

    Yeah, without all of the crazy accessories + voice box it gets what seems a lot more reasonable, until you look at all of the MP-10s with trailers you can get for $200 MIB

    ...Black Op clone...
    ...Soundblaster "clone" (depends on what story line. Being a Targetmaster character, Soundblaster will be a good Decept choice for Raiden; assuming its scaled correctly)...
    ...Loudpedal lab assistant...
    ...Toy color Shockwave (currently have the toon accurate version)...
    ...Magten Megs per color scheme (mind control helmet accessory to control Nemesis OP)...
    ... (or) Black Rodimus clone (for those who own a 3P Galvatron)

    :lol  haven't you been reading these threads, trailers are so soooo unnecessary. :p 

    I kind of don't mind for the Nemesis releases, since he's essentially the "anti"Prime. Knowing Primes relationship with Roller and his trailer, I get "anti" Prime totally forsaking those components and going for self.

    im most likely going to cave and get this guy too even though I'm supposed to be on a buying hiatus. I just love this mold. MP 44 was dope, so I can only imagine I will like this guy with a better paint scheme more.

    Nope. I'll wait for MP-whatever that is just MP-44 without the trailer, talk box, etc and comes at a reasonable price.
