Inferno has a very enjoyable transformation. Takara deserves props for that - No one does transformations better.

I wonder if KFC will be making hands for this. I hope so.

Opened and transformed him. It's fantastic in both mode and bigger than i thought. I absolutely love him.

I'm revisiting this thread and went back to find the last post talking about this issue which mine also has. I'm surprised there's not more talk about this. Is there a way to transform the head *without* causing that scratch? I'm not seeing it.

Me too. I just won't transform him again I guess :( . Real shame cause I like both modes quite a lot. And I enjoy the transformation itself as well. Dammit.

The chrome hose on the left side of his head mount has a pin sticking out just enough to scratch the red paint when you rotate it. Mine has the problem as well, as I'm sure just about everyone does. Someone was able to push the pin in further to alleviate the problem when it was first released, I believe.

Mines is fine, I dont feel anything making contact with the side of his head. I transformed him again thrursday night probably about the 8th or 9th time Ive transformed him

**just checked behind the wings fine there too actually a little bit of overspray. I think when this was first reported I think the sequence you moves the wings and nozzles is important.

I've noticed paint chipping and scratching in various spots on the figure. The fender pieces that swing back to fill in his torso have chipped. Fortunately, there's red plastic underneath so it doesn't look horrible, but the problem is the plastic and the paint are two different tones.

No pin dig, which is nice, but the ratchet on his left foot is REALLY loud and clicky and there's a bit of resistance in pushing it, while the right foot seems to be normal. I'm hoping the left foot doesn't have a spring issue like MP-09 did.

Many times I read about cheap prices, when US fans import figures like MP stuff over HLJ or Amiami. Don`t you have to pay import taxes or customs? MP Inferno is around 170$ when I buy him at a german retailer. Is he so much cheaper in the States?

I got Inferno for around $120 shipped from HLJ to the US. We don't have to pay import taxes or customs fees.

Forget german retailers! I could easily match those prices and sell the stuff for the same price or even less!
US citizens don't have to pay VAT or any import fees, our Country fucks us from almost the first Euro!
Buy from foreign retailers in china or japan directly and you will get the stuff much cheaper than from domestic shops.
I paid about 120 Euros shipped for Inferno, including all import fees!
I used Nippon Yassan a few times now. You can pay those fees in advance when ordering from them, and you will get the package within a week, like a domestic parcel right at your door.

Yeah, it's a pain in the ass. But even when I order from HLJ, it's expensive. Is Nippon Yassan that cheap? Anyway, thx for the advice. Inferno or Artfire would be okay for me at that pricepoint.

I order my Masterpieces from a reliable local dealer, in my case Kapow Toys. I could import it cheaper e.g. eBay but I feel they take a bit more care and if there are any issues I know it will be sorted straight away. Still don't think Grapple should be nearly Ultra Magnus price.

I've been ordering from HLJ for about 10 years now. Never had problems, prices were ok. Last year I stopped ordering from them, because of NY. Cheaper prices, cheaper shipping and ordering with prepaid custom fees including fast shipping! For official figures my go to shop.
Usually I'm using TFS-Express for all my figures, sometimes also Kapow, but they can't beat the prices from NY!
