This was a wonderful video review. Thank you so much Crazee928 for posting it.

While I think this looks to be a really cool toy, after seeing this in the video it looks really flimsy. It looked pretty "light" the second we see it as a ship, so there was no surprise when it came to how flimsy it was in robot mode. The smaller robot with the hollow forearms...oh no, no, no...that's terrible for a toy / figure which is nearly $200! Yeah I'm picky but if I was considering investing in such an expensive toy...shit must be near perfect.

I'll save my cash and hope that tracks is as stable and solid as the initial photos show.

    Again, thanks for the review!

just to be clear, that's not me in the review ^.^

and I have no affinity towards this guy as I never watched the cartoons and didn't even know who he was when he was announced, but I purchased him because of the masterpiece line and because I just thought all those gimmicks were cool - from saber's face popping up after inserting the little dude to saber forming the chest in the combined form. saber's arm gap is no different from bumblebee, and I think they're similarly sized, so that's kind of "expected" by now from this line. could be better, but everything could be better in hindsight

Seems like a rushed video by Charles himself.

Oh God. Saber is like a combiner wars deluxe...only worse since it parts forms! The Vstar has no transformation either. Pull the legs down. Done. And the alt mode is just so bad. Like, the worst.

    There's just nothing here.

Wow, just watched Peaugh's video and i must say I'm a little let down. He looks mostly plastic and hollow versus some great previous Masterpiece toys we've had before like MP10. I hope this is not indicative of where this line is going. If I am going to pay a premium for these figures they must have more paint applications and more die cast.

    YMMV

He still has plenty of diecast in him.

The designer has stated that it was his specific intention though to make the exterior surface of the toy mostly plastic, with minimal paint, because he wanted it be as big and chunky and durable and playable as the original.
