Hmmm I like some of Weijiang's stuff but this... no thanks! I cant see anything at all it borrows from MP-36, apart form the idea of including a damaged head/chest?? It's basically a tweaked Apollyon with a few Mightron and original elements. That means it has Apollyon's horrible, imho, high, thick, kibbly, Grimlocky shoulders - I hardly call them clean. MP-36's are messy from the back but at least all the right shape and size.

The less said about WJ's feet and alt mode the better though!! I honestly think sticking to a straight KO (of whichever one they fancied) with upgrades would have ended up better than trying this original idea of integrating the gun stock which here just ruins both modes, imho.

The faces look very MP-36. tbh the only areas where I love the MP-36 design myself over 3rd party efforts are the legs and the faces anyway. The leg transformation is genius and the faces are what gives MP-36 the one thing that truly makes him shine: character!

I agree there's a lot of Apollyon in this KO but as someone who's owned both Apollyon and MP-36 and appreciates the strengths of both I'm on board - at least aesthetically - though stability, finish and early reviews could take me either way.

As f0cus says - TFS Express in the UK got a 2nd batch in. Kapow will have it too, but both sold out straight away. I don't know if there is any difference between the initial run and this run, might even just be that some came via sea shipping and so took longer to arrive in the UK!!!

I've opened MP-36 up today and he is fantastic. I have a tiny paint imperfection on the chest, and one on his shin. Otherwise, great all round.

I'll never transform him as i've got XTB Apollyon for gun mode (as well as the small gun mode megs for that toon scale accuracy  ) and I don't want to chip any paint or mess with him.

Nice one, he is a fantastic figure indeed, my favourite figure to date. I see you've toonified (if that's a word) your Prime. It's nice to see someone who enjoys the cartoon as much as you do as opposed to the 'Oh, it's too cartoony ilk' with their usual drivel.

This figure is still my undisputed deskbot, I seriously can't take my eyes off him, he's phenomenal. Enjoy!

So has anyone had any luck removing the faction symbol? The decal I want to use is too narrow to cover it and the next size up is too big and I've decided 'fuck it I'll obliterate the tampo'. Unless someone has been talking to an intrepid third party that plans to crank out blank duplicates of the chest plate...

Have you contacted them? They are very slow to ship to states, I've had my experience with them, it took forever for them to contact me. I did order MP Dirge from them just because the price was so dang low....

 

Got my MP-36 finally. Only opened the outer packing and found they included the coin. Did everyone get the coin?

Can't wait for some "alone time" to get to know him.

I've transformed mine about 8 times now, with the silencer inserted all the way, and I am happy to report that the scuffing is almost nonexistent on the barrel of mine. I have maybe one tiny mark, but I'm not even sure that it's not a paint blemish. Not saying it's not a real thing, but just want people to know there are some samples that the silencer doesn't destroy. I do have a few small chips in the normal places (like where the pin gets his left shoulder) and on the top of his head, but all in all it's not bad. And it would be better if I had fully understood how everything works and where it goes right away.
