    They should have done Masterpiece Shockwave in his G1 colors so he better matches Masterpiece Soundwave.

    Just hope Takara don't continue with pastel/washed out coloring for their future Masterpieces.

    I'm glad they didn't go all toy dark Purple on him. Aesthetically he is more toonish than Soundwave is, I don't think I'd have liked him that dark. I don't care for Fakeblast/wave, not just because of their more blocky builds and inaccurate legs, but the color is too dark to me, they just don't look right to me. Now, Laserwaves accurate design may look better in dark Purple, and I hope they make a variant for those who want that, but I don't.

    And I for one am perfectly happy with their color choices thus far.

    Agree, they should use those colors. Probably a repaint in the future.

    While I still look for the G1 shockwave. I found a "gray shackwave " in mint condition at the local toys shop. I'm happy with the color of the new shockwave .I believe it gets darker depending on the background light.

    Ok, so I figured out which parts of the stock needed to be sanded down, but could someone tell me which piece it is that rubs against the head that needs to be sanded down, as well as which screw needs to be loosed for the leg transformation?

    Argh. My default face now has a bald spot ontop of his helmet. Paint came off during transformation. Better remove the face during transformation. :(

    It's weird how in the really professional looking shots you guys are taking how his face looks kinda blue under the intense lighting.

    Or is that just me? I don't want to start another blue/grey thread like in the Takara Legends Kup thread!
