That is gorgeous! If he actually looks like that I'll be thrilled to bits. Sadly though I'm already 99.9% certain he won't be colored that way (red inner shins, black front shins, silver is questionable, etc.) and it looks like you gave him larger abs which make his proportions vastly improved.

 

This is just beyond amazing, man. As a fellow 'design guy', I can't believe how shockingly photo realistic that came out. Your coloring & lighting technique is damn near flawless! Let's hope the actual final figure looks as good as this.

 

I simultaneously got extremely sad and extremely impressed when I realized that colored image of Megatron was a drawing and not an actual photo.

Has any of this been substantiated by TT or is this still just a rumor with random splash photos and renderings from social media pages? I'm now looking forward to this, and I don't want my emotions played with.  

 

Mostly speculation, but if that leaked photo is legit, this is kind of a big deal because TT usually keeps its MPs more closely guarded than this. Though many believe it's an intentional leak ahead of their showing in 2 weeks to curb sales of Despotron and Mightron.

i think hasui is 100% involved this is the tribute he tweeted when the japanese voice actor passed away which looks pretty much the same as the prototype facesculpt and in the picture where it looks to be revised to be more cartoon accurate

 

This thing is looking very promising. I'm very excited for this, I'm one of the fans that actually loved the original MP Megatron, but this one is looking super. I'm already planning for this one, hopefully it will be released in the first half of next year.

 

I hope TFSource carries preorders for this item, although MP Megatron V2 would need an orange safety plug for the barrel.

 

LOL this mock up is/was already making the rounds on Instagram... Luckily it's been corrected to note that it's only fan art / not an official prototype picture. But kudos to you for doing such a fine job that people were convinced it was "real."  

 

I'd love to see a bashed up, post-Prime smackdown repaint with a soundchip for: "Waaait! I still function!"

Japanese toy show where hot rod and shockwave were revealed last year. Both hoist and "a Megatron v2 who's stock turns into a flight stand", were reported to be on deck to be revealed there the day before the leaked prototype showed up.
