One frozen block except a movable thumb and pointer finger?

    Uhh..

It's just like most official hands. The other three fingers will most probably be webbed together like usual.

I'm sure we'll see 3P hands for this guy.

Let me guess...you won't be getting it. For those that are confident in their eyesight, I'm pretty sure they don't need you speaking for the "rest of us".

They are legit. however, I would be cautious of ordering any place that takes payments immediately on preorder items.

If something goes wrong you can be left SOL trying to get compensation if the time limit for a disputing claim is over by the time the item is shipped.

I understand why some businesses do this to protect themselves, but ultimately it's offering no protection to the buyers

While this is probably going to be ok, there is always the risk of something going wrong. It's important to understand the risks going in.

Use an appropriate payment method that can accommodate a dispute time period between now and the time the item is shipping.

You're probably right. I paid 45usd to ship CW Bruticus (and that was a regretful purchase as well).

I've been using AE for every Takara MP pre order since Ultra Magnus a few year back and have absolutely no issues at all and save at least $20 per order in comparison to US retailers. You pay via Paypal and the shipments require a signature so that's an added level of protection. If you are one of those people that like a lot of back and forth communication with the retailer, AE probably isn't for you.

    It's more of a pay...wait...wait...wait..wait...wait...pay shipping...wait...arrives 4 days later.

I paid $45 for MP-10 EMS from AE last year. Isn't the box for Megatron supposed to be the same size as MP-10?

A signature? Yeah, no one is ever home when the mail arrives. I might have to cancel with them.

Or-or...and hear me out on this....he may have been talking about how the fingers and hand are ROUNDED for a more cartoon accurate look, and not just blocks pinned together like so many 3rd party Megatrons did. You think that was it, or are you absolutely sure he was talking about the articulation?

You can always just pick it up at the post office...problem solved. But, I avoid buying from AE unless I have to because I hate handing out free loans.

    ????

Let's see his response first before your usual comedic reply.

Anyway, of course something will be more "accurate" when it's frozen/webbed together. That is why figma figures have a new line called "FigFix" - they're statues with no articulation - but boy they're just so "accurate."

For such a response on how I assumed, you sure assumed also.

    So I .. uh .. I don't even?

    Weird.

There was no comedy in that reply. You don't wanna be called out than stop calling out others.

And just so you understand what I'm talking about; you became snippy with the gentleman for liking the hands of this toy better than a third party toy and decided you needed to make light of him for it. I realized you read it the wrong way, and I'm sure he'll confirm it, and made light of you for it. I did what you did. If you don't want that to happen then you need to stop initiating it, otherwise that's hypocritical behavior when you complain it happened to you.

Regarding the orange plug...Is it just going to be screwed in? I'm wondering how easy it will be to remove it.

Think of the orange plug like a butt plug. It pops in, it pops out. Sometimes it might tear if you don't pop out carefully but the damage will be internal so no need to worry about the figure's cosmetics unless probing the inside of the barrel is important to you.

Finally a serious response I can reply to and don't have to edit 10 times for it to make sense :/

The reason I even I mentioned what I said to him, was because of the obvious "tone" and condescendingness of his statement.

I also can't recall a single time seeing him in the 3P section. So maybe I assumed and used lousy math, but it made (and still does) sense to me at the time.

    Furthermore --

And I'm sure we both know sure as shit there will be a market for 3P hands (and a major want) for this Megatron.

But all is well. No worries. Appreciate the response anyway. So used to you using sarcasm :p
