Those aren't suitable hands unless they can fit around Starscream's neck.

Anyone remember how much uw combiner wars bruticus or computron was going to ship from ? That box wasn't that big...
Here is an example of hlj. Think what the price would be if dollar to yen is 1 to 95 yen like it was earlier this year. Some could be setting themselves up for the perfect storm when Megatron comes into stock. Some places besides hlj don't hold items and invoice you to take shipping payment within one week.

Also the fact is shipping cost due to dimensions and weight are unknown at this time and probably won't until in stock.

If you can combine it with other items in stock at that time, if the service allows it, then you might be saving.

Looks like cartoon/comics proportions to me. He isn't a human last I checked.
He costs like 155$, don't see the problem. If you want him cheaper blame Hasbro for not making one for the US market...

Don't blame hasbro, they'd release this thing in a heartbeat if it wouldn't be a legal nightmare.

With how much relies on that joint, I'm betting it'll be rather robust.

You seen the prices for Masterpieces lately? Hasbro charge more for the likes of Prowl and Bumblebee than Takara does.

Same reason shipping bigger stuff with fedex or ups is cheaper than usps.
Price: It isn't just the size of the Takara box, it is also their cost for packing it up well enough for the long trip.

Takara Tomy also has an established relationship with car manufactures as i believe Tomy was/ is responsible for a scale car line( Its part of what they banked on getting the licenses). Hasbro does not. Chances are that relationship allows them to work out a better deal than Hasbro probably gets. Either that or Hasbro chooses to pass the licensing fees on to the customers. Honestly I don,t even think they are that dumb being the sheer size of their market allows them to sell unlicensed MPs significantly cheaper than Takara.

I think memberberries are taking control you guys, look, megatron is about priced about when mp convoy first came out. I mean look at all the accesories he comes with, he comes with a full scale blaster, WITH a stand. I don't think hasbro can ever release mp 36. I think you guys need to rethink on why he's so expwnsive, I'll take my american money and spend it on the most royal and expensive way to buy megatron.

I'd prepare more for $35-50 for EMS to the US. I just paid $26.56 USD to ship MP Primal and this box will be much larger. Still cheaper than US retailers.

If Takara cared enough to do that, Megs would've been MP-38 to tie in to his gun mode. He's not, because Takara doesn't care about the numbering of releases signifying anything.

Should I be worried about AEG being able to ship this to America ?

I wonder why MP-36 had a different solicit date than the reissues? He's not even up yet on Amazon.jp...
