I know that tomorrow will start the japanese retailers preorders, so yes amiami will open theirs for sure  

 

I know everyone is pumped for the new megatron, i don't mind him, but for me he doesn't suit my collection, i have done a little modding to the current picture out of him straight on, i would of picked him up with proportions like this, to everyone who does like him i am glad we all have options  

 

So MP 10 has silver highlights but MP Megs is grey. It's doesn't match up Imo. They are sticking to the toon color pallet a bit too much.

 

The articulation and accessories look dope as hell but some of the proportions are still off.

 

See, THAT looks pretty perfect to me.

 

Silver is great for highlights because if those areas chip it's not as noticeable because of the small amount. But I dread the thought of Megatron being completely coated in silver and chipping all over the place

 

I think it's fine. Also, I prefer the tampos to sticker sheets. I don't see the draw for stickers. No residue, no peeling.

 

I don't care which symbol, i just want it tampo'd. Closeup looks like a sticker to me so you might be alright.

That grey is a deal-breaker.
This thing looks really nice, there's a lot to like. Overall it looks like an amazing Megatron.
But this flat grey coloring - no way. No way in hell.
Silver has been doing just fine for.. I dunno, just about every Megatron ever made? MP-05 certainly didn't have any issue with paint chipping.
It looks great in these new pics, but I absolutely cannot. Certainly not at that price.
I look forward to seeing people repaint this thing like Shockwave so that it looks decent, but unless they make a non + anime version down the road, I gotta pass.
I will buy it the moment they decide to put the effort in and paint it properly.

I am fine with it too, its toon accurate, its what I expected.

100% certain, they are just not up yet.

 

According to my records MP-10 was $190 back in the day so I'm not sure how that validates Megatron's $230 price tag.

 

According to the original BBTS listing he was $249.99

This makes MP-10 look like such an old and clunky design! Time for a more animation accurate MP Convoy...

if the come out with one with a more toy accurate color i will consider it, just looks too bland

needs the silver as even in the show that is how i thought he was colored you just can not do silver in animation very well with out it looking like chrome. and the lack of red inner arms and legs is a huge negative for me rest looks fine but i am not going to replace my DX9 any time soon for it

 

I on the other hand would only want this one because I care about screen accuracy and not toy accuracy. Different strokes for different folks.
