    Yes sir.

I didn't post about it because I didnt want to start mass hysteria. Lol

The pin on the inside of the arm of Ratchet that makes the arm extend a bit cracked.

On Wheeljack the painted blue plastic around the base of the windshield cracked, as well as both sides of the back of the legs, where the sides of the car wrap around to the back.

    I superglued them all.

Wheeljack in general has a tad bit of trouble with his back wings, they're made of translucent plastic, which of course is known to be a bit more susceptible to breakage than regular plastic.

This is pretty much why I never transformed masterpiece stuff. They feel more and more delicate with each release

Crazy glued spots seemed to have held up perfectly. Nothing new spotted. Crisis averted.

That said....now look, I'm not defending this QC disaster whatsoever, it shouldn't be happening....but what I AM saying is, it is a real shame that not everyone is going to get to experience the magic that is MP Hound.

How this figure transforms, and what it accomplishes in BOTH modes IS by definition a "masterpiece."

Such a shame it was marred by some plastic experiment gone wrong.

I will keep my bottle of glue on hand, touch up whatever needs touching up....and continue to play and transform this thing all day long.

I got my Wheeljack+ in as soon as it released and I first noticed a crack in the wing hinge last week. Wish they used a different plastic considering it is painted.

If only I knew how to remove the wings and the pieces that attach it to his back, i'd have tried to get some custom ones printed and painted.

The wing parts would be gang-molded with the windshield, so they wouldn't be able to change the plastic type without retooling the figure.

Me and super glue are not friends. Between my bad eyesight and clumsy fingers, I always apply too much or messily get my fingers stuck together.
I wish I had steadier hands as well lol

Using a toothpick to apply glue really helps with that. Also, gel-type glues like Gorilla Glue are a lot easier to apply than the more runny variants.

Yep, I discovered the gel not too long ago, and only use that now.

Much, much, much easier .....I've glued my fingers together more times that I'd like to admit.

don't do it. I own two... and I don't feel like I have Hound still. This toy is a standin until a reissue happens. It's not worth the worry currently.

one of mine had fucky cracks. the other one had fucky cracks too. luckily the fuckiness was kind enough to have happened on different parts of each toy. So now I have one Hound without said fuckiness. Sadly my second is in alt mode and positioned so I can't see the missing door, or the cracks in the shoulder mounted armature, or the under belly around the chest. It's a tragedy mate. If you pay for shipping and are cool with buying me a gourmet burger and a few pints I honestly wouldn't mind selling to you. Message me on FB if you're interested. I'm not interested in selling at all, but I know you might be wily enough to fix this nonsense.

Ugh....why does this describe my mentality too? Even though I know he won’t just shatter, at the same time....I don’t know that. It’s very annoying and I can’t fiddle with the guy, which is a primary reason for my buying MPs. I hate complaining about something as trivial as a collectible, but sometimes it really irks me.

I use two-part model epoxy and a toothpick That way I only get the sticky stuff where I want, and it's easier to wipe away mistakes. Thankfully haven't had to use it on Hound yet. Mine is still pristine after a month!
