Yep, my Amazon figure had exactly that same crack. Figure was perfect elsewhere.

I really do think the best thing to do is order 2 hounds, grab a screwdriver, make one good Hound and send the shitty one back. Obviously assuming any cracks are in different places.

That's how I got my good Hound anyway.

    Or wait for the reissue.

Then why aren't the order status updates reflecting anything along those lines? I don't buy it and have opened a dispute with them since they've ignored my ticket. Totally disappointed by this whole thing.

Looks like Amazon sold all their inventory with their recent bargain sale.
Anyone wanting to return the figure will now probably only be able to get a refund, no replacement.

    BUT DIECAST!

MP-47 blows it out of the water except on the QC department. Personally, I'd much rather have a disintegrating MP-47 while waiting for a revised reissue than ever owning [email protected] there. I just don't like it. Never did.

After refusing to transform my transforming toy like a little bitch for five days, I finally did. While the pressure and force that one must use to move some of the weak panels is scary, mine held up very well. I don’t know if I cause it, or it came this way, but I had a large crack in the neck armature very similar to the one in Oku’s pick above. I applied some Plastistruct weld to it and let it sit for 24 hours and it seemed to completely seal the crack. I’ve historically had mixed results with this particular weld, but it does seem to work well on certain types of plastic. I think that Hound must fall into that category of plastics.
Hopefully I can continue to use it as I inevitably develop the other cracks since it is a true weld, and leaves no discernible evidence behind.

After all of the talk and videos about easily broken panels and plastic literally crumbling off the pin I was teeth-chattering scared to transform MP Hound, but I'm proud to report my copy made it through to robot mode w/out a hitch. The trick seems to be just taking your time with the sensitive parts (i.e., the door panels that swing out, the side leg panels, etc.). A buddy said to me ahead of time, just don't be ham-fisted as you transform it and you'll be fine. As simple as that concept sounds that seemed to be the formula that worked for me.

All of that said, I love this figure. He looks the part in all of the right ways and I'm so glad I purchased MP Hound.

Here's the number from mine from Bigbad. Has anyone gotten a dud from them? This one seems solid so far. 20200124_123448.jpg

I think you can do something about it, like Ambitron did if I'm correct. Unscrew, sand the pole then lubricate the joint. Eventually fill in some glue in the gap.
    You should be fine

Thx, I'll give it go. I don't really care that much since I wont transform him for a long time. But when I get a moment I can unscrew and glue in the gap. Hasn't fully broken which is good.

Otherwise, my Hound is fine....so far....

Every single joint lubed with silicone oil, neck hinge screw removed. Fully transformed, flawless. :)

Cool! Definitely keen to see how yours goes. I may be tempted to get another from BBTS if all goes well haha.

I'm still wondering, have any of the Hasbro-sleeved ones, which I'm assuming here sold by the American shops, had any breakages?
