With any luck I’ll have mine tomorrow. Just in time for the weekend. More joyous toy fun.

Too bad his facial expression looks like he smelled a bad fart but is trying not to make a big deal over it.

Jealous of all you guys and your Hounds! I'm hoping Takara announces a Detritus repaint soon. :D

Tuesday for me. Did you order at Amazon Japan like me or elsewhere? Wasn't expecting Hound to be delivered this year still.

Man really on the fence with this one. Any word on his legs bending backwards?

Mine was shipped too, delivery is scheduled for Tuesday, but I think there is a chance it could arrive a day earlier.
About the figure, it looks good for Paik's review. I usually don't care too much for imperfections in paint, but with the prices Takara is charging now, they should pay attention to these kind of details too. The lack of backward movement for the hips is unfortunate. It's not the most useful point of articulation, but at least some range of motion would help in some poses.

I gotta stay watching the Piak4life video this mould looks fantastic, lots of great detailing, articulation, weapon storage, cleans up nice (no backpack and very little kibble) etc etc. If he wasn't in nasty flat toon colours and didn't cost quite as much as he did I'd be on board. I have my fingers crossed for a toy(ish) deco plus version, although what I'd really prefer is a return to the more blanaced toon and toy sympathetic decos of the past.

I hope you all enjoy your Hound as a late Christmas present to yourselves.

While I see where your coming from, I'd say the colors on this MP are actually more accurate to a real military Jeep than the G1 toy was.

I got mine today. He's pretty great overall! I'm really impressed by the feet which can transform with his laser scope and jerry can attached. The body/back also compresses and locks super well (keep an eye near the tyres for the pegs!). The instructions are a bit hard to make out in places and come with a few extra notes.

The neck has no magnet but isn't really as much of a bother as i was expecting it to be. Go looking for it and you'll find it, but otherwise it's not much different from a regular gap between connected parts.

Only thing I've found to be bad is his upper thigh articulation, he can barely move them backwards, although they go forwards more than 90°. He has immovable back skirts for some reason, maybe for something in vehicle mode, I'm not sure. The rest of the articulation is above average though and he has good balance.

One thing to watch out for, the hands just slide in and out of the forearms. To get a hold of them, there's the tiniest nub. If you were to shear the nub i think you'd probably have to take apart the forearms to get the hands out, cause otherwise they're fit tight and with nothing to hold on to!

Hope you all get yours soon

Boo, no AJ shipping notice for me. Guess I'll be waiting til Monday at the earliest. Good thing I love AJ so much, this is now the 3rd MP in a row that hasn't shipped on release day.
