I think there's definitely a bit of forced perspective at play in this image. Prime and Hound both look quite wide and Hound looks quite big next to Prime.

Also, Hound's left rear view mirror seems to be missing in robot mode. We already kinda knew this but this Seems to confirm that they'll be easy to unplug. Perhaps a 3rd party will offer chrome versions for those interested.

Not liking the floating head. Hopefully, it’s just user error.

For anyone who’s interested, I’ve added MT Gundog to What’s in the Box. Now I can sleep well at night now that the MT fans can make comparisons when I breakdown Hound. I wish we had him in hand so that someone can transform him correctly. I love that TT showroom charm.

So we have Hound near Prime's trailer. Let's look at how other carbots look near or on Prime's trailer.

I think Hound looks about the same width as a regular carbot, maybe a tiny bit shorter in length.

I'm actually thinking he looks about the same size as Willis after all. Hope I'm wrong.

yeah , the floating head is pretty unfortunate. knew it would happen seeing the front is so clean. but oh well , let's wait and see some more shot. the hinge on the back seems to not completely bring down. when doing so , the head won't float

Couple this with the pale face and dead eyes and it's haunting. Genuinly haunting.

Seeing his robot and jeep mode in the same pic makes it look like some Ironhide/Ratchet magic to get a tall bot out of that small jeep. Love it

A strategically placed magnet would have been the perfect solution. Too bad. God only knows what the "Takara premium" for added magnets would have been...

If I smear Vaseline over my eye balls and hit the Aperol Spritz I've found I don't notice it so much. But a magnet could work also.

    I really love happy face.

Then i look at my FT Willis in hand, and a smile / happiness comes in my face, and then say to myself, yeah both would be fantastic in my collection if one has the money right now, but in my case after my operation, maybe best to wait for the re-release in two years when hopefully have more of that $$$ stuff.

I do hope it is as good as TT Inferno in transformation, and as well built/solid, cause that is really a league of it's own.

I feel out of the 4 top releases this year (MP Optimus v3 / MP Bumblebee v2 / MP BlackAracknea / MP Hound), that the MP Hound is looking like my top want out of those, especially if transformation is more fun and repeatable. And the weird thing is, i have been wanting MP Blackaracknea since forever, and already have Hound (Willis), but still i find MP Hound the most appealing of the future releases from takara since MP Sunstreaker really. The other 3 are good too, just MP Hound seems to stand out alot more for me for some reason...

I remember someone saying they hoped the Jeep windscreen can angle forward, so these pics prove it. Looks like the whole section with the windscreen rotates and it wasn't rotated exactly into place in bot mode here. Also looks like the flight stand hole is higher up than usual. I think MVP @Sam was the first to point out that he looks to have forearm swivels, looks like that's confirmed here.

Have to say I think this is the best smiling face in the line! Not too exaggerated. I guess the others are laughing faces where this is a nice smile.

I don't know if it's just the paint peeling off the part of his face-mask, but it looks like he might have his forehead 'light' that he used when he had his mask down underwater, represented as translucent plastic.

I guessed this when we saw the grey prototype too. We only have the one photo with his underwater mask equipped, and we can't see the top of his head in it.

Great catch! I could not see this translucent piece in the stock photos but I hope it's there in production. That helmet hologram projector also appeared in The Insecticon Syndrome.
