Not particularly a big fan of the way the butterfly joint works, but at least he has it I suppose. Second impression is that the vehicle mode is delightfully detailed to be realistic. I could have gone either way honestly but I’m happy with the license so he can match his brethren. I really want to see a transformation and an alt mode comparison shot.

By the way I’m pretty sure the episode the canopy is hailing from is Atlantis, Arise!

Also, can someone update the first page with these shots?

 

They said the rifle, gas tank, and spare tire are all integrated in transformation.

Indeed, I'm sure if it's used in a less extreme way it looks OK but in that image it looks really bad, looks like his arm will fall off and crush Spike any second. Butterfly joints are welcome of course bit this one is a bit wierd.

Yeah I'm glad he doesn't look too 'toonish' in jeep mode, much better looking in both modes than Bumbleebee, and V3 Prime for that matter. This guy appears on a par with the very best looking the MP line has to offer. Drop the canopy and price and I'd be pre-ordering.

 

He looks great - he looks Sunstreaker quality, which is high praise indeed. Bring on the preorders.

Ahahaha that is so fucking cool that they included it! It looks great too by the way. Really a surprising addition here.

 

Pretty shure at this point they'll keep the darker green and the chrome details for a + toy deco.
On my part, the only thing i find a little distracting JUST from certain POVs is the missile launcher armature. everything else on first impression looks GOLD.

He should come with a large cutout of the giant autobot hologram he put up that one time in that one episode.
