Understandable.

 

My last new mold was Sunstreaker as well, but I got the Hot Rod and Shockwave repaints after that.

It's really weird though, my interest in the line is at an all time low right now. Probably a combination of having almost all my wanted characters already, and my complete disinterest in the toon look. I'm definitely not getting the new Prime or Bumblebee, and honestly, I don't even think Hound looks that good. I'll buy him out of a desire to complete the Diaclone carbots, but it's just obligation at this point.

When you're buying stuff out of sense of obligation, especially to something that doesn't even exist like "completionism," then it's probably time to walk away.

 

I don't think Takara are doing a decent job of promoting the line or keeping the interest up.

 

3P is where the buzz is at the moment. So many releases happening this season.

You ask me (and in fairness no one did) Official Masterpiece virtually broke the back's of fandom with a $400+ Optimus Prime. I know he's been selling solidly and most will eat that particular sandwich because... must have all the Optimus... but I personally believe third party is going to serve MP their lunch before all is said and done... and do it cheaper.
