Ordered one for a local since I am guessing a lot of them are asleep. Got mine a few days ago in store.

Be interesting to see how many they have and how long this lasts.

Wow! Those bastards actually did it! They're taking everyone for a ride   I expected eBay scalpers to pull this stunt, but TRU?  

Grats to those lucky few that got their Grimmy for $60.

I had the original, but had to sell it to help my parents. While I wish I had gotten it for $60, this price is still far better than the prices that I didn't want to deal with before.

I'd be shocked if TRU didn't try to gouge on their exclusives after they realized people wanted them. There was a Marvel Legends X-Men 5-pack they had as an exclusive, which they gradually raised from $84.99 all the way up to $139.99. They dropped its price later when they noticed it wasn't selling for some reason...

That said, $80 is still a hell of a deal for MP Grimlock. Don't buy it if they start raising the price, though. They won't stop until they can't sell it.

Based on some of the early opinions/reviews, this guy might be ok at $60, but a 33% increase in under 1 week? Nope.

 

Did anyone try to search for him on the website? I searched "Grimlock" and "Masterpiece Transformers" with no results. The link worked fine - he just isn't searchable yet. Odd.

 

Thanks for posting direct link, I was having trouble with their POS site searching for it. "Grimlock" returns 7 things but not MP Grimlock. "Masterpiece" and "Masterpiece Transformers" return zero items. All of these keys words are in MP Grimmy's title, yet return nothing. Awesome site as always.

Assuming the only way to find it is to search on the sku?

 

They did the same shit with the MP Optimus back in 2012.Seriously,it feels like they are collects they have the funds let jack the price up..

Got one (I think) and now I don't have to swing by TRU this morning.

Also, weird because I checked my "Grimlock" search before coming here and he wasn't showing up there.

 

Its already in my local TRU computers at the $79.99 price, so this isn't a big deal to me at all. Rather just get it now online and not have to think about it anymore.

I wouldn't call $80 a "scalp" at all considering this was probably what the price was supposed to be. If you read half the MP Grimlock want posts, users were willing to shell out $80 anyway which would have included shipping. Off TRU shipping is free, so it all comes out the same anyway!

 

I also find it comical about people complaining about the $80 price. $60 was a too-good-to-be-true kind of thing almost surely a mistake.

So many of us have wanted this guy and we were all staring at $250 plus - but now $80 is an insult. Too funny.

As for loose hips? Pretty sure my trusty bottle of Future will take easy care of that.

 

After free shipping and applying a gift card I had, he only costs me 45 bucks.

That seems like a justifiable purchase to me.
