Nothing that hasn't been done before, but someone I've wanted to do for a while. The MP Bumblebee mold is fantastic, and while I have no desire to own the red or G2 versions, I really wanted a second color of this figure, and Glyph was a likely choice. Glyph is a straight repaint from one of the Takasa Tony KO's. The original (awful) paint was removed, then the figure was primed and painted. I specifically left most of the joints the unpainted black plastic to avoid unnecessary wear. I nixed the rotating symbol, 1. because if my authentic scraped, I knew this one absolutely would, and 2. the molded symbol just wasn't as crisp as the authentic and I figured it wouldn't look as good, but 3. most importantly, there was no cartoon accuracy to match, so no reason for it to disappear. The main color is about 75% Model Master True Blue Pearl with 25% Silver with three heavy coats of Future for a high gloss finish. The grey is a custom silvery grey mix and accent colors are Chrome Silver, Chrome Yellow, and clear yellow and orange.
