Nothing that hasn't been done before, but someone I've wanted to do for a while. The MP Bumblebee mold is fantastic, and while I have no desire to own the red or G2 versions, I really wanted a second color of this figure, and Glyph was a likely choice.

Glyph is a straight repaint from one of the Takasa Tony KO's. The original (awful) paint was removed, then the figure was primed and painted. I specifically left most of the joints the unpainted black plastic to avoid unnecessary wear. I nixed the rotating symbol, 1. because if my authentic scraped, I knew this one absolutely would, and 2. the molded symbol just wasn't as crisp as the authentic and I figured it wouldn't look as good, but 3. most importantly, there was no cartoon accuracy to match, so no reason for it to disappear.

The main color is about 75% Model Master True Blue Pearl with 25% Silver with three heavy coats of Future for a high gloss finish. The grey is a custom silvery grey mix and accent colors are Chrome Silver, Chrome Yellow, and clear yellow and orange.

Don't forget to check out the additional thumbnails below, and thanks for looking!

Very nice repaint. I have absolutely nothing with Glyph, but you definitely made the mold look great in blue.

Marvellous. I too, want a Takara version. One thing though; the face looks like it's completely yellow Is the visor clear or something? She looks souless in thos epics. If it IS meant to look that way (offocially), perhaps a different visor colour would work, like orange perhaps?

It's clear yellow over silver. In hand, and at least on my monitor, the color is distinctly different than the face, and is in fact quite "golden". The original toy had an all yellow face, and I wanted something similar. I actually tried clear orange first, but really did not like it.l

Looking at it again, I can see the dark orange visor now. Looking good!

Very nice! Although I'm also not a fan of the visor. Accuracy aside, I think a silver, black, or even red would give some contrast. (Autobot-blue would be fine but there's already alot of blue there). But that one nitpick doesn't detract from an otherwise very nice repaint.
