Alrighty, here's the neck area. Thoughts?

Also, seeing as how I'm undecided on the color, if any of you kind souls with photoshop skills would be willing to show pics of the neck as blue, white/silver, gray or red colors that would be super.

I think I'd leave the neck area white. It would blend in a little better I think. All in all though, this is comin out amazing lad, amazing!

Thanks for the work on the pics! Now that you've posted them, I think red and blue would stand out a bit too much. Thanks for that.

Yeah, I think I'll either leave it white or paint it a gray color to match the rest and blend it a bit better. I may try to find something more square instead of cylindrical, to compare the two and see which one flows with the figure better.

    great job so far :)
maybe a nice addition to the neck would be some kind of hosing? running from the inside of the half-sphere to the bottom-part of the head. So it would cover up the balljoint and the thinness of the neck as it is at the moment.
I'd leave the sphere-thingy white, with a black or grey hose.

I think leaving the neck area white or gray is your best bet. It blends in perfectly with the head.

It's a play on words from Ultra Magnus' quote in the 1986 movie "I can't deal with that/handle that right now!!"

It's been sort of a running joke about UM ever since. Nothing personal against you, just your username.

Too bad the neck bulk thing is Rounded and Dome-like, it should be more squared or cube-like in shape since this is a G1 transformer your bashing. (which, by the way looks absolutely amazing so far)

Keep Fort Max as Box looking as possible, that's what makes him so great to look at.

Also ordering new decals from Reprolabels is a Must.

I was going to ask... what were you going to do with the stickers? Were you going to leave them as is, strip them and paint the whole thing for toon accuracy? Are there Fort Max reprolabels?

I'm going to strip what's on there, repaint, and (probably) replace with reprolabels. There are Fort Max reprolabels, but I think they cost $45 a pop (ouch).

Screw that. Paint for toon accuracy!
